Complete opposite of direct replacement.
This is not a direct replacement as stated. This will not fit 99-03 f250 radiator. I spent two weekends modifying brackets and the shroud to get this to fit/work.Bottom line: Stock radiator shroud is 26” from lip to lip. This shroud is 26-1/2”. See images (fig 2a-2c). It was never engineered correctly. You will have to cut and modify every single bracket.Right out of the box noticed the instructions referring to specific part numbers. Only 1 of 5 brackets were numbered. See images (Fig 1a-1f). One can figure out by process of elimination, but when you’re spending this kind of money, one would expect better quality control.Fig 3a-3e show how poor the alignment and figment is with most brackets. Radiator supports from the factory are offset from radiator width. Flex a lite engineers designed the their brackets to piggyback off the factory, but with the assumption the factory brackets are not offset. Also not enough travel adjustment in any of the brackets to correct.Fig 4a clearly shows a completely different aftermarket radiator fan shroud. Maybe this was the one they thought they were selling?Bottom bracket on the bottom side of the shroud is probably by far the worst design other than the shroud itself not being the correct size. Bottom bracket has to be shimmed 6-8mm to get the shroud gasket over the bottom radiator cap , tabs have to be modified to get the gasket snug against the radiator as well as bolt holes bored further out to allow for more adjustment.Poor engineering overall......

Don't expect customer service from Flex-a-lite if you buy from Amazon
During the installation I realized bracket 28006 was missing. I called Flex-A-Lite and they said they would not help me because I purchased the item from Amazon. I called Amazon and they said they would replace it for me but I would have to uninstall everything and send it back. So, that was not an option. I had to fabricate the bracket myself. I should not of had to do that after spending $600. After I fabricated the bracket, I finished the installation. In my F250 the shroud does not snug up against the radiator on the bottom and sides even after the adjustments. I will again have to fabricate something. Yes, it does appear to work. But the frustration I encountered during the installation cancelled out the enthusiasm I should have felt. The moral of the story is, if you buy this item from Amazon, don't expect any help from Flex-A-Lite.

Easy hookup
Good system. I use this for a 2000 F-250 with a Cummins converted into it. I would suggest getting the switch to keep it on at all times if you're pulling heavy. But even pulling an 8,000lb camper, I've had no issues with overheating. I also modified what the instructions said, putting it more inside the frame of the radiator and that works even better. Up to the installer though if that is needed or not. I did it for room.

Bad fit, doesnt install easy
Nicely made but; does not install easily as the fit Is Not replicated as the OEM. You'll squirrel it in and still will not fit snug against Radiator. I had to custom modify the brackets for a 99 F350. Would not buy it again as its a bad fit!!

Very happy with everything
I installed this in my 2003 Ford Excursion, it fits like a glove I also installed a Flex-a-lite 32050 Temperature Sensor to make a clean installation. I installed the sensor in a extra port in the water pump housing. Very happy with everything and got raid of the stock fan noise and picked up a few more MPG to boot. I noted that if you adjust the VSC just right the fans should never come on during highway driving.

Works great
I put it on a e350 box truck van and I pull a 10000 pound trailer with it through hills and all. On the van style you gotta custom it a bit bc it’s meant for the truck but it still works great not one problem with it at all

Junk
Terrible product, Wiring diagram is crap, sensors don't work right, doesn't cool the engine when towing my 23' camper on flat ground.Burned out 2 alternators due to it draws so many amps when it does decide to come on.CrapDoes look nice under the hood though.Saw a slight fuel economy increase.
