Awesome Little Speaker
I waited a few weeks before I wrote anything so I could really test it out. Little speaker packs a punch for it's size. That was just a plus. I bought this simply because it advertised waterproof ability. Well, that claim seems to be true. I am sure if you dunked it too deep, it would fail at some point. With that being said, I have used it in my shower over and over with no issues. I eventually even dunked it 12 inches underwater for like 5 minutes to see if it would fail hahaha. It did not. No signs of water intrusion either.Battery life is pretty long as long as you don't have volume maxed out all the time, which I do not do as it seems to create distortions or "clipping" of the audio. The only issue I have noticed with it is if I use different phones with it and pair then both at different times, the next time a use either phone, the speaker kind of flips out and will pair for like 30 seconds then unpair, searching for a device.Pressing the power button for 6 seconds to restart the pairing / searching process on the speaker fixes that.

Fun and functional device.
This little device is so impressive! This was a gift for my slightly technology-challenged husband, but he seems to be able to use it fine. It's amazing how small these little speakers are becoming and how powerful they are. I bought a different brand for my daughter two years ago, and though the sound is good, the range isn't very good at all. We tested this one by walking away from it with the phone while music was playing and the range is surprisingly good. Apparently, you can answer calls with it too, but that hasn't been tested yet because it just seems kind of weird to answer calls in the shower. It was charging while I was taking some of the photos, but it IS wireless for normal use. It sticks to the wall pretty well too. I took a photo of it on its box next to a 16oz. water bottle for scale.Update: After using this a while, I had to remove one star. It's still a great little device, but it has fallen off the wall once. Also, I notice that it's shape makes it easy to squeeze a button on the opposite side from the one you want, simply because of natural hand position. If you can get used to that, it's still a nifty, little thing.

The volume is fairly loud and sounds good, with very little distortion
My daughter can now jam out in the shower without having to get her tablet soaked in the process. The volume is fairly loud and sounds good, with very little distortion. The battery charge drained fairly quickly, in about 4 hours, but that was at probably close to max volume. It doesn't take very long to charge, though, and it uses a standard micro usb port - in a day and age where companies STILL try to force proprietary charging ports on us, it's nice to see a standard one.I haven't submerged it but it has gotten wet, being in the shower, and it has shown no signs of problems. I have no reason to submerge but I'd assume it would survive a brief dunking. The only drawback that I've seen is that the suction cup itself is pretty flat and doesn't always hold the device in place. I've walked in to the shower and found it on the ground where it fell down during the night. You have to press pretty hard and get it a bit wet to get it to stick, and even on a flat surface it sometimes will lose it's grip. Not the best suction cup I've seen on something like this, but it (mostly) works. It's pretty inexpensive, so I would try it if you're interested. It sounds better than some of the tiny cheaper ones, and it's sturdy enough to take drops and get soaked. Pro tip: stick it in the corner of your shower so the sound amplifies and it will sound even bigger than it is.

good speaker, questionable quality
It has had issues with reliability in the past, but somehow its working again and this time it is very reliable. I'm not sure what happened originally that caused it to stop powering on, but after a good drying out and recharging for a few weeks it seems to be good as new (sort of). It still has issues where you need to hold the power button until the light flashes steadily (you used to only push it once to power it on). But I can deal with that as long as it powers on reliably again. I still don't trust that it won't freak out on my again. But in the mean time I've been using it for the better part of a year and for the first few months and the last month or so it has been great. It's just that month or so in the middle where it refused to work that bothers me.For now though it is a great shower speaker. Its more than loud enough. Its clear and strong without being tinny or too bassy. Is bassy a word? Anyhow, it sounds good enough in a shower for my uses. Plus I like that it has a clip so I can attach it to a ziptie on my showerhead so it doesn't fall down when the suction cup eventually dries out like my old speakers did. Also I enjoy how long it lasts on a charge. I only charge this once a month, maybe. But I use it every day for my showers. I generally play the news with it, or music, from my iphone. Its been great for that. I don't use the controls on it since they are hard to read (black indented letters on black rubber) but I now know where they are by feel, though I tend to still prefer to use my pebble to control the phone instead of the buttons on the speaker. The only problem is the mic. Its terrible. Though who would use a mic in a shower? That said, even with the shower off its pretty bad. But I'm ok with that. It works well enough for Siri or Google Now for the most part. But don't try and use this for a speaker phone, it will surely disappoint.

Great "shower" speaker.
Purchased this Bluetooth Speaker to use while in the shower. It has a large (removable) suction cup on the back of the unit so it can be attached to the shower wall. The controls are large and easy to operate. You can also change songs with this speaker as it has back/forward buttons. I would say it is slightly larger than a hockey puck. Obviously it is not crazy loud given it's size... however since I used to play music while showering with just the speaker on my cell phone... This is a serious upgrade in terms of loudness and sound quality.Edit. purchased this in Dec 2017. It is now May 2019 and I am still using this! It's a tough little speaker.

Great little speaker
This is surprisingly good quality for the price. The sound quality is great, the battery life is good (been using for a week now every day in the shower and still going strong) and easy to use. One of the previous reviews mentioned they couldn't alter the volume but you simply hold the skip track button for 2 seconds and that increases the volume.

Quality product well designed.
Let's be succinct. The device has a good deal of heft giving the feeling of a quality build. The rubber seems well made. The plunger is big and sticks easily to tile with no moisture requiredEasy to set upSound quality is surprisingly good.Volume range goes from quiet to deafening. Can definitely be heard over a shower.IPX5 means it's good for a shower but should be put up high when giving kids a bath, as it is not designed to be submerged. (If this happens I'll update the review)The carry clip makes it easily portable and that you can hang it.ConsMy only real down is that you have to hold the volume button to increase the volume. If you just push it, then skips track. This is the wrong way round.

Lovely Little Speaker
I usually have a portable speaker in the bathroom but worry about the effect of the humidity, so looked to be an ideal solution.Arrived well packaged with clear instructions in the box and a good length charging lead (mini USB). Charged very quickly and ready to use within the hour. Suction cup worked very well and felt that it was securely attached to the bathroom tiles - still very firmly attached after the first 24 hours.Very easy to connect to my Android phone and has a nice long range. Quality very good for the size of the speaker and not at all tinny. I am very impressed given the price.(Please note that the speaker is more turquoise than it appears in my photo, the listing photos are much more accurate in showing the exact colour).

Excellent quality and sound volume
I have bought several shower speakers over the years, and while generally they have performed okay, most have issues of some sort. For the price, this product is excellent. The workmanship is superb, and i can certainly confirm that it is waterproof. The volume when even at maximum, is crisp and very loud with no distortion.Pairing with my phone took seconds and its great that it has a control button, that will allow to pause / resume music without having to take the risk of getting your phone wet.All in all, a great product, highly recommended product
