Remington H0747 Ceramic Ionic Jumbo Curls Hair Rollers

Rollers work quite well. Just not happy about needing the adapter plug. I had the same set for years, obviously made in or for the US by Remington. So I expected this new set to be the same. Seller should have noted that this was intended for UK use. Seller forwarded an adapter plug immediately when I notified him about the issue.

I have shoulder length, naturally wavy fine hair and bought these simply to try and add volume.Firstly, the rollers are so heavy and the prongs that hold them in are too short, so the rollers just literally slid down my hair.Because they are so heavy, like little bricks, every time you bend your head forward, the top ones flop over because the wire prongs aren't able to secure the rollers in place against your head.I then tried the plastic "push on" holders. They secured the rollers more effectively, but when i took the rollers out, I was left with a ridge / kink in my hair where the edge of the plastic holder had been sat.I tried them several times, thinking I must be doing something wrong, but gave them up as a bad job after about six attempts.

I LOVE THESE ROLLERS I HAVE LONG LAYERED HAIR, PAST MY SHOULDERS, MY HAIR IS ALSO VERY CURLY SO i USUALLY SPEND HOURS BLOW DRYING AND PUTTING ROLLERS IN AFTERWARDS. WITH THESE ROLLERS I QUICKLY DRY MY HAIR AND PUT THE ROLLERS IN. THEY ARE QUITE LIGHT SO DON'T DRAG ON YOUR HAIR. I USE THE PINS WITH THE COMBS OVER WHICH HOLDS THEM IN TIGHTER. I ALSO USE THEM IF I HAVE'T GOT TIME TO WASH MY HAIR, I PUT THEM IN WHILST DOING MY MAKE UP. HOPES THIS HELPS.

Bought for my sister as a birthday present, she loves them, they heat up really fast and hold a wave all day. she puts them in whilst she gets ready for work, and her hair is noticeably waiver. The only drawback is there's no section to put the clips and pins when not in use, so you'd need to get a little pot for them.

This is probably the worst set of heated rollers I have ever bought and believe me their have been a few over the years! If you have shoulder length hair you really need at least another 4 rollers. The pins are to big for the rollers they fall out really easily. The plastic clasps don't hold the rollers either I have tried them both together they still fall out.As for Jumbo Curls you only get 4 Jumbo size the rest are what you call medium size in a normal set of heated rollers. I would have expected a minimum of eight to justify being called Jumbo curls.Sorry not the best product Remington have ever produced.

great heated rollers gives a different curl depending how long you leave them in for, I have extremely thick hair so an hour gives a loose wave but 2 hours gives a nice loose bouncy curl so you've got several looks with one product. as my hairs so thick I do struggle to get it all into the rollers and could really do with more but I imagine most people would have no problem :)
