Waiting For Resolution
I was really excited about getting this light for my EDC kit. I have just put together a couple of get home bags for myself and my wife, and ordered similar lights for those bags. I was impressed with the light itself....a lot of light from such a small package. The disappointment happened the first night I got the light, and I put it on the charger. There was a lot of crackling of electricity and the base wouldn't register the light (blinking light indicator). It seems that this has fried the rechargeable battery that came with the light. I now have my own rechargeable battery in it and the light again functions, but I can't use the charger base.I have emailed the seller and am going to give them a chance to rectify the situation. If the seller resolves my issue to my satisfaction, I will modify this review to 5 stars. I am impressed with the Olight overall, just wish the base (which is one of the cool conveniences of this light) functioned better the first time.
