Good case, very grippy and the kickstand holds it at a good angle. Would be nice if it was a two directional stand, for reading as well as movies and such, but not a huge problem.Very stiff plastic in both parts; rather than the soft squishy silicone I'm used to in a hybrid case, the inner blue plastic is not very flexible, and it was kind of a fight to get the phone into the case, and the case into the black outer frame. But all the necessary holes are there and correctly placed and sized. Unfortunately the buttons are -very- stiff, which isn't a problem for the power button, but I use the phone very often for reading books, and turn pages with the volume buttons, and it's difficult to press the button one-handed. One instinctively puts a finger on the other side to make it easier to press harder, and that's right on the power button.It's saved the phone from a face down drop, so it works; I haven't rushed to replace it, but probably wouldn't buy another one.(Update 9/2/16): I managed to fumble my phone twice in about two minutes and ended up slapping it into the floor the second time. A small piece of the black part of the case broke off, at the bottom right. It still holds onto the phone properly, and I've gotten used to the stiffness or it's worn in a bit, so I'm going to keep using it as is. The phone works fine after being smacked hard enough to break the harder plastic part of the case, so it's definitely tough.

This bright green color wouldn't be my first choice, but I was in the need of a solid case and this was on sale.It wraps around the phone in a rubber like fashion but its hard plastic backing/skeleton keeps case rigid and strong for drops or using as a blunt object.That said mine doesn't wrap perfectly around the phone. The Samsung S5 has a metallic painted ridge on the front facing edge and I can always see at least one of not two of the corners of that edge depending on which part of the phone I put in the case first. I've tried many times to realign it and even retried after extended use after it may have "softened up a bit", but its still just a bit too stubborn to stretch enough to cover my whole phone. In practice, it has never been a problem in terms of using or storing the phone - it never FEELS like the phone is jutting out in such a way that it changes the profile or shape of the cased phone, it just doesn't look perfect when you're looking at the phone..Also, this color attracts "finger dirt" like nobody's business, and eventually over weeks of use, it will lose it's bright neon luster due to being covered in irremovable smudge.I noticed one of the black plastic corners of the backing eventually broke off in my pocket and I fear that the other corners will too, though, they look and feel sturdy so far. My Spigen brand case lasted me for well over 4-5 years, though, this one started crumbling after a few months.This case is still a decent case for the price, just don't expect a lifetime worthy case.

Decided to give this case a try. I have a trident on my S3 (not cheap price) and decided to try this one. It is just as good as the Trident with half the cost. It fits the S5 perfectly. One tip...lift the corners of the black snap on, snap the corners of the case on and then just push the black corners back down. Goes on easier that way. Buttons are a little stiff at first (like breaking in new shoes without the pain). The buttons loosened up with in a few days. This is a very durable case (sorry Trident you have met your match). It is not bulky still keeps the phone slim with great protection. The raised lip all around the edges allows you to lay your phone face down without the screen touching any surface. The kickstand is very durable...I forgot I had the kickstand open, tried to shove (and I mean SHOVE, I was in a huge hurry) my phone in my pocket, caught the kickstand and thought oh great so much for that. NO DAMAGE, it did not even bend, twist, crack or anything. I snapped it back and was off. I would highly recommend this case to anyone. I also bought the sport version of this case for using on strenuous activities and it is just as awesome. Both cases will take a huge beating and keep coming back for more. I tend to lay my phone between my legs while driving and yeah I forget hop out of the truck and sometimes I catch it sometimes I do not. It has hit the pavement on more than one occasion and not a scratch on the case or my phone (I also have the Military HD screen protector on which is absolutely awesome). Anyway enough rambling, you will not be disappointed with this case. Oh yeah, one more thing, this case also does not get in the way of the fingerprint scanner on the S5, you do not have to be Houdini to use it, just swipe like usual.

I've always bought covers with belt clips before. THIS DOES NOT HAVE A BELT CLIP, in case you weren't sure like I wasn't. It doesn't have a cover for the screen, and it doesn't come with a screen protector even though the advertising claims it does. I've had seemingly really rugged covers before but the belt clips broke. This time I bought a leather belt clip and this thing fits inside. That should work pretty well. Fewer things to break. It seems pretty well made for what it is. I too struggle with getting it on the S% until I read more reviews: YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT APART! After you disassemble the two pieces it will go on nicely. Again, This thing seems to be made of good material and it all fits correctly. Just don't expect too more than what it is.

The case fit the phone perfectly. I liked the entire case however I can't use the hard plastic backing that comes with it because it will not wireless charge with it on. I bought a different name brand charger to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end. With only the green case it works flawlessly. In summary I'm very happy with the case, just wish i could use the hard plastic case to make it a little more sturdy. I bought the case so I could leave it on while charging my phone... This is an older phone and the charging port no longer works so wireless is the only way to charge it.
