I purchased the Nero sink and get lots of oohs and ahhs over its unique styling. The color is a deep charcoal, but not black. The material seems very durable and hasn't scratched at all yet (2 months). I was a little worried that the texture of the surface (which is about the texture of the inside of an iron skillet) might hold food particles, but that hasn't really been an issue.My only concern is that the guidance on cleaning from the swanstone company pretty much eliminates every cleaner on the market. No bleach and no ammonia? Almost everything has at least one of these. Without either of these, you are pretty much out of choices. That said, I have found a very successful cleaning ritual. I start with warm water/dish soap/scrubbing sponge and finish with a wipe down with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and this seems to do a great job. I am a fan of bleach, so I do miss the sense of clean the burning odor of bleach gives, but don;t want to risk hazing up the finish.18 MONTH UPDATE. The finish on this sink remains flawless which I find very impressive. I have found a good cleaning routine as well. I use dish soap (e.g. Dawn) and a scrubbing sponge with very hot water most of the time. If it looks like ti needs a a little extra care, I follow that with a granite cleaner and polish. I go about 3 months between polishing and it still looks like the day I installed it.

I replaced our stainless steel double sink with this Swanstone product. First, I have to say that the seller, Buy and Large, not only had the best price by far, but also their shipping was incredibly fast. The sink is well made and looks awesome installed. My only complaint is that the mounting clips are not well designed - they need more than the standard amount of room (based upon stated measurements) to fit through the opening - even a fraction of an inch matters. The only way I could get the sink through the opening was by leaving off a few clips, and then attaching them from underneath. Then discovered that the metal screws would fairly easily strip the plastic clips, if I turned them just a bit too much. But ultimately, everything did hold in place, and it sure is worth the effort!

Swanstone Granite Kitchen Sink, QZAD 3322.075 Bianca, drop-in ascend bowl. This is a great kitchen sink. I put one of these in my prior home about 6 years ago without any regrets, we recently moved so it was a no-brainer as to what sink to install in our new home. We like the size and depth for washing up large items or rinsing produce etc. The higher side shelf is a nice plus as well. The granite is a relatively quiet when setting heavy metal pots or dishes into it. Cleaning the granite is easy too. We love the design and size of this single bowl sink.Now for the part that requires your patience and an ethical seller. Swanstone needs to redesign the packaging of this product because the seller had to ship me 3 sinks before I got a sink in one piece. The first 2 sinks had a corner lip was broken off. FYI, the seller Bath One was fantastic to deal with through this process, they responded very quickly and they gave me the option of receiving another sink or refund my money.This sink in the box weighs 55lbs. and the dimensions of the box is 36"x25"x15" which means of all the hands of the shippers that handle a carton of this size, it's going to be dropped at some point. The current Swanstone packaging won't handle a drop on the lip of the sink. The third sink shipped to me Bath One inspected the sink prior to shipping then put the Swanstone box inside a larger box with foam padding between the 2 boxes. So finally sink #3 was in one piece. Once installed the sink is very durable, I have NO concerns about breaking the sink once installed. Lastly, Swanstone has redesigned the clips that hold this drop-in sink in place, these clips are not easy to install......but bottom line we love this sink!

I only recently even heard of composite granite sinks, when looking to replace my 20-year old "builder quality" stainless. We also replaced counters, so this is installed under the counters. I wouldn't have expected it, but visitors say "Wow!" when they see the sink. Wow to a sink! How about that?Functionality. Double sinks are pretty much an anachronism these days. What I really wanted was a sink big enough to hold a cookie sheet or griddle. This does. The small ledge is perfect for draining washed vegetables, or you can put a suspended dish drainer over it and still have a big sink.Cautions. The sink is really deep, which I like, and we had it installed under the counter, so because of shortcuts taken by the builder of our house, it was a fairly major plumbing job to reinstall the drain and Badger 5 disposer. Second, we live in an area with hard water, and this black sink shows it. It cleans up nicely, athough the recommended Weiman granite cleaner and polish will not take off the hard water deposits very well. That takes vinegar. Hint: If you want the sink to look really good when company is coming, after cleaning wipe it down with a little cooking oil and a paper towel. It really shines.

But after receiving and returning 3 sinks due to cracked edges (lips broken off) Amazon opted not to try again. It seems to be a great sink and I don't think it would break in usage unless you took a cast iron fry pan and struck it hard on the corner edge. I'm very disappointed that an intact sink couldn't be delivered to me.It's now been 4 broken sinks, I tried shipping to a nearby address in FL but it still arrived damaged.

It's a wonderful high quality sink! The texture feels like stone and not some cheap glossy ceramic. Installation was also quite simple,although the counter top cut out needed to be slightly larger to account for sink mount notches not shown topside. My only complaint is the poor packaging as it took Amazon three deliveries before I got one in good shape. Although it was definitely worth the wait. The first two arrived cracked, in which Amazon did not charge me for. I think the cracks were caused during international freight shipping perhaps too many of them were sitting on top of another on a container ship as the material is so solid I can't see how it can be damaged from Amazon's Canadian warehouse to my home. What's funny is that the second cracked sink had the words "damaged" scribbled on it and Amazon still shipped it to me.

The size is big enough for cleaning cooking pan. I do not use dish washing machine and so this sink fits my purpose.

This sink is amazing! I love everything about it. I will never own stainless steel again.
