I bought my 1st pair of these strippers over 20 years ago and I'm just now getting a new pair, these have out performed several pair of Kline strippers throughout the years.

Electrician for the last 11 years and these are the only strippers I use.

Ok, these are going to be great cutters BUT I throw all my cutters and plyers in one drawer. If these cant lock closed then I cant have them in there and really, don't want the sharp edges exposed when I dig through the drawer. These are identical to my older pair that im replacing with the exception of what the arrow points to, the close lock. So Ill have to take the one off the old pair and rivet it into the new pair. IDEAL lost 3 stars for not doing this in the factory.

What can I say, they are T-strippers.Not the best by any means, and definitely not the worst.This is your average priced/quality electricians strippers.Thin frame and light in the hand.It has yet to fold the copper wire in the cutter, it cuts it.Similarly priced/quality blue handled kleins often fold the wire instead of slicing through it.Ideal makes good tools.If you want perfect stripers, spend $30-$100 on knipex.

The only wire strippers I will buy ! BAR NONE !, notice this pair doesn't have the locking device which in my opinion just gets in the way.Just make sure the power is off !

26 years Low Voltage Tech installing Alarm Systems using 24 gauge about 99% and also 18 gauge the other I have used these for 20 plus years and have tried many other pairs ( at least 10 ) and always come back to these

Best strippers out there. I lose them long before they are worn out.
