Easy Install and Resolution is Great
During the evaluation process to find out if my existing surveillance camera system compatible with Zosi’s DVR and cameras, Zosi’s customer service rep. Slina provided excellent service to me during the decision making process in selecting a new surveillance camera system. I had quite a few technical questions and Slina helped answer my questions. After learning more of my needs, Slina helped make a recommendation on the Zosi product. During the installation process, one camera screw was lost which is a rare type that I could not find in the U.S. major hardware stores. I asked Slina if I could buy some extra screws from Zosi. She immediately worked with their operations team and sent several screws to me free of charge. I truly appreciate her valued assistance throughout the process.The resolution of the cameras is clear. The system integrates with our existing cameras well. At this time, we are satisfied with the Zosi system.

Slightly upgraded over the older models.
Two of my original cameras failed because of water getting into the enclosures. I discovered that I had to shield them better from weather than I had originally so I ordered two of these. Right away I noticed that they have screws to hold the enclosures together and a selector for resolution. This can make it difficult if you have to power off the cameras or you lose power because they'll default to the lowest resolution available instead of going back to dv1. This means that you'll have to have access to the camera about 5 ft down the line to a small box so that you can hold the selector for 5 seconds to the right which sets the camera back to dv1. Not a huge issue but it would have been nice if the selector was permanent. I've been overall happy with the Zosi system it's inexpensive and it works. You could pay more but there are ways in which you can spend stupid money and there are ways in which you can spend smart money.

Lack of Durability
This product fails. After a year and a half, the power supply failed. I had to pay to replace it. After another year and a half the second power supply failed. After replacing it the DVR would not come on. I was instructed by ZOSI Support to upgrade my bios which I did. That did not fix the issue. I was instructed to unplug the hard drive and try to boot it which did not work. I was instructed to upgrade the bios with the hard drive disconnected, which I did and it still did not work. After a week of emails with support they finally determined that the DVR is not working. I was informed that their warranty was two years and if my device was out of warranty that I would be responsible for shipping it back to them and repairs. I was informed it probably would be cheaper to purchase a newer device and they offered a 10% discount. Honestly, why would I buy another product from them if their device does not last more than 3 years. These devices are important in maintaining security for your home or business. Do not purchase this product since you are going to have to replace it sooner than later.To be transparent after the second power supply was obtained the DVR would not go past the system initializing screen. When I was upgrading, the screen did indicate that it was upgrading then go to the system initializing screen and freeze.

Extremeley Disappointed with product -But NOT Tech Support (Hugh)
I had originally gave a 1 star overall rating which I meant for the product, NOT the Hugh the support Technician. Since it looks like I gave Hugh the one star, I have corrected it here by choosing the 5 stars.I give FIVE STARS to Hugh from Tech supportI give ONE star for the product at this point in time. See comments below.At this point I am not going to leave a full review. I will do that in the future. I am giving the company (ZOSI) a chance to make good on what I was told (that they are working on fixes for their motion detection and their app). The app unfortunately does not let you adjust sensitivity amongst other things that you should be able to do and the app is not as intuitive as other camera system apps. The motion detection goes off for such things as the change from dusk to dawn no matter how you adjust the sensitivity. I have even moved and repositioned the cameras. This review is about their Tech Support. The Tech Support person that I have been dealing with is Hugh. Hugh is one of the best Tech Support people I have ever encountered. I myself come from a Tech Support background, so I have some insight on how Tech Support people should always be honest, treat people with care and keep up to date with the knowledge of the product they are supporting. Hugh, excels in ALL of these areas. He has always been honest with me whether the answer was good or bad. He has never tried to sugar coat the issues. If the issue is known he tells you so. He does NOT pretend that it is the first time he is hearing the issue. I respect that and when you are told the truth, I believe you have a higher tolerance to wait and give time for a company to find a fix for known issues. Hugh has excellent knowledge of the product and shows a true, genuine concern on the issues you ask him about. He has always answered my emails promptly and has given me workable answers to my questions that allows me to at least have limited use the product until they fix their other known issues. Thank you, Hugh. I hope your company recognizes how valuable you are to them.

Great system
I spent some time to set this system up. It came with 4 cams and 4 x ~70 ft cables. The amount of cable you get for price is worth value. You can also buy 100 ft extension cables that aren’t too expensive either.Easy and straightforward to setup. I was able to install a HDD by unscrewing DVR and easy SATA and power cable already there.The video quality is great. I was able to get it from 720p to 1080p. But not sure if it can go higher since it says 5MP?Software replay somewhat versatile. The alarming needs a few more sounds and didn’t have 2-way voice. app is ok but I wish they had better notifications, I couldn’t get software to send phone notifications properly. You can view camera by app good.For the price this system is very great value. The only thing hard to work with is finding routes for the wire. Overall solid security system.

For the price, this is a good little camera.
The four-in-one switch is a little difficult to hide if you're mounting this on the outside of your house and you're trying to hide the cable but other than that it seems to be a nice camera. The infrared night light seems to pulse, it's not a steady on, but it's not a problem either. I bought three more. Works with NightOwl systems.

very good buy IMHO
So I and my husband decided to get this DVR kit to replace our older FLIR DVR/NVR, so far were very happy with it the only problem is we can't change any record-setting for the cameras, there all greyed out we're not sure why since everywhere we have looked on Zosi support site which is ok but doesn't really with problem-solving just runs you through basic operation, but they do still work properly and they record just the lowest bit rate, not sure if its the cameras we use but we have 9 Zosi cameras in total 4 bullet and 5 domes we bought at another time, all are 1080p which luckily for us is the only setting that is right under the record features. would buy it again really just wish instructions manuals were more detailed/clear
