Product Description Everyone's favorite aardvark gives kids a new spin on seasonal traditions this one-hour special, showing children many ways to celebrate "the holidays." Plans are underway in Elwood City for the best holidays ever as Arthur, D.W., their family and friends make preparations for perfect gifts, perfect parties and perfect family traditions for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and even "Baxter Day" (Buster and his mom's special celebration). The only problem is, just like in real life, perfection is hard to attain and things start to fall apart. .com There's a lot of pressure involved in planning the perfect Christmas celebration, and Arthur and his friends and family are feeling the stress as the holiday approaches. Muffy is so focused on throwing the best Christmas party ever that she doesn't even hear her best friend Francine when she repeatedly tells her that she can't attend because the party falls on Hanukkah--a time of important celebration for her own family. Buster's mom is so intent on creating a wonderful Christmas despite the absence of Buster's father that she's exhausting them both. Binky's plans to bake goodies for the homeless are threatening the stomachs of all his friends, and D.W. is driving the family crazy with her pleas for the season's most popular toy. And Arthur is absolutely determined to make this Christmas perfect, no matter what. Things go wrong, as they often do, and everybody discovers that you don't always get what you want in life--but if you're flexible, sometimes you get something even better.
