Ideaworks Super Bright Multi Use LED Light

This light has 4 led bulbs on the front to use as a flashlight. It has 24 led's on the side when a brighter light is needed. The moveable stand that holds the light erect when on a flat surface work well. It can be adjusted to direct the light up or down and has 3 detents in either direction. It can be hung from a hook that folds away. The direction of the light can't be adjusted when using the hook, but if a hook is made from something (a bent piece of a metal clothes hanger), then the moveable stand can be hung on the hook and the direction of the light can be adjusted. The only problem I've had is that the magnet in the base is too weak to hold the unit to a metal surface unless the unit is standing straight up. I would recommend this light to anyone. A stronger magnet and a hook that would permit the light to be hung AND adjusted for direction would make it a 5 star item.

These flashlights would be great if it wasn't for the glitch with the light staying on, as others have complained. I received one as a gift a few years back and it works great, however, I do not know where that person ordered that one from. So, I decided to purchase this same one here on Amazon. Unfortunately, this one has a glitch. Oh well, I am not sending it back because it still works with a little play. Just a little annoying. It just has too many great functions.

I had organically given this light a five star rating for several reasons now I'm changing my rating and editing my review because after two months of use the "On Off" switch broke and fell inside the light. Reading the reviews I see others have had the exact same problem. Within the two months of use I probably used it around the house about twenty times. The rest of the time it sat on shelf and I was the only one who used it. Went to use it today under my sink and the yellow On Off switch just breaks off and falls inside the light.While I did mange to remove the plastic switch using tweezers there is just no putting it back together. I tried for two hours and cannot get the switch back in place. The light will no longer light. It's a shame that something so well made has the one main part that is so cheaply constructed. So I'm out nine bucks, and stuck with a piece of junk. However I can get satisfaction by WARNING others DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LIGHT !!! If i had listened to the other reviewers I would not be stuck with this piece of junk so please listen to me and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LIGHT. If you buy it you'll soon find out what myself and others have experienced, the On Off switch is going to break and you'll be in the same boat as we are.

Simply smartly designed. Tilts this was and that way. Magnet on bottom good enough for horizontal surface, like a grill shelf, which is the main reason I got this. Main front light panel gives off plenty of light as a powerful flashlight. Upper edge has 3 or so LEDs in it for a much weaker light but I don't think I'll ever use it.These are made in China and sell under a whole bunch of brand names (even Bell & Howell advertise them on TV). Buy the one at the lowest cost.

Had to do a second review on this. The unit switch has stopped functioning as the board the switch is mounted to broke and the switch cannot be pressed and does not work. This is the second one I have had and the first one did the same thing. I thought that might be an isolated issue so bought it again.

This is our second buy. Excellent multipurpose led "flashlight" we plan to keep this one in our lights out box. Seems to happen a few times a year, power failures that is...

I use and like this...wish it was a bit brighter.

This light worked great for a few days--then the off/on button broke and went back into the case. When I saw the insides, I realized it only had a thin circuit board behind it. Disaster seemed alomst inevitable. Poor design.
