When I bought this comforter I was hoping for several things: I wanted something light enough to not feel burdensome, yet warm enough to get me through the Colorado winter nights without the need for another blanket other than a sheet. I also wanted something clean and organic, without fire-retardent chemicals or unsavory ethics. This comforter works wonderfully for me, though I would need another blanket during winter if not sleeping with a partner. There is an obvious need for a duvet, as woolen items such as this are not meant to be washed (unless you know what you are doing). It is recommended to spot clean or send it to a chemical-free dry cleaning service. Don't let your wet muddy dog on the bed! Assuming the sheep are happy and the cotton-pickers are not Uzbekistani child slaves, this blanket is actually fit to pass my high standards, and at a reasonable price! The usual eco stuff is often much pricier, though for good reason. Also, this blanket does not bunch up or smell bad. I would recommend it to someone with sensitivities. Exactly what I was looking for!

Smells natural, like my handmade organic wool mattress. The texture of this fabric is also great for linen coverlets because there's no slipping and it stays in place. Blanket is warm but not too hot. Thickness is about 1.5 inches.

We have had ours for three weeks now and love it! Even during 100 degree weather this is still nice to have on the bed (with A/C on)... No weird smells...nothing out of the ordinary compared to anything else that is new. Great comforter, fast shipping! Thx!

I love this comforter. So comfortable and fits in duvet covers easily. I don't get too hot under it. Makes climbing into bed wonderful at night! I'm sensitive to non organic products and have had no issues with this. I highly recommend.

Hesitant to buy because the price was so competitive but I love this comforter!! Organic, American made and totally breathable. I live in Florida and we use this year round with a duvet cover. Incredibly good value. Very pleased.

I knew this was a lightweight wool comforter when I purchased it, and it has worked well for me. The cover is a little rough but it's fine inside a duvet. Did not notice any unpleasant odor.

It doesn't bunch up like others I've had. Not heavy, but just the right thickness. Plus it's organic!
