It is usually really hard to find shoes for my daughter who has wide feet as well as tall arches on the top of her feet. These shoe fit her great. They run pretty true to size and probably run big for people with normal width feet. She is normally a size 3-4 depending on the width of the shoe and bought her a size 4. These shoe were surprisingly loose and had a lot of extra Velcro space to adjust the height for her aches. She’s tried other size 4 tap shoes that fit length wise but we’re super tight width and arch wise. I even bought my 7 year old women’s size 4.5 WIDE tap shoes. The women’s 4.5W shoes were narrower and shorter than these kids size 4 shoes. I included a picture of the kids 4 vs women’s 4.5W shoes.

Purchased these for my six year old granddaughter for her first tap dance class and they fit perfectly. They're not too hard and the velcro closing is perfect for a quick change from tap to ballet. She wears a size 13 in sneakers and these shoes are true to size. I would certainly recommend.

So cute and good quality but runs very small

These seem to be fine beginner tap shoes, Velcro closure. The only big thing is that for ballet shoes size 6, which we ordered according to a size/inches chart, size 6 tap shoe was way too small, and she ended up taking a 7-1/2, after I ordered several sizes delivered. The too small ones we put on a doll, and another small pair I’ll give away. An accurate size chart is needed for length.
