Question 1

Where are they made?

Accepted Answer

product of China. Packaged in San Francisco.

Question 2

Are these from china? saw another answer from del monte that avoided the question. so, are these from china or not, and no beating around the bush!!

Accepted Answer

yes, don't know if mandarins of this quality are grown elsewhere in a large enough quantity for export. My husband loves them, so though I may not care for the country of source, in this case I just have to accept it. I did once see some canned from New Zealand--don't remember name, not quite as sweet. These are much like clementines, but texture is better as is the flavor after canning. hope this helps

Question 3

is there an expiration date on the cans? How much time after receiving shipment is typically left?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every time that I purchased them, there was an expiration date on each can. It was about a year out from the time that I got them.
