I loved the book. I, of course, love Beverly Lewis as an author. The story is about a young Amish girl who, as an only child, finds a "sister " in her new neighbor. The neighbors end up moving and a few years later get back in touch with the Amish girl. The Amish girl goes and visits her friend who has left the church. The story continues with their friendship and adventures and has a sweet ending. A Must read in Amish fiction if you were to ask me.

I really love all of Beverly Lewis' books! Each of her characters are full bodied, have either lots of faith to take them through anything that comes at them because of their faith or the struggle to find their faith and how they accepted Him as Lord and Savior! I just love each of them so very much! Out of 5 bookcases, they are among my very favorites!Ms Lewis, you are among my favorite authors of all my 69 years! My mother taught me to read at a very young age and asw I have grown, I have learned so much about human beings just by reading about your characters and their struggles!Thank you for writing about your lovely characters!Blessings, Tari

Many years ago, Beverly Lewis was the first Amish writer I've read, her stories still hit the mark! This book is all about faith, forgiveness, obedience, trusting, family, and a tinge of romance. What you expect from Beverly Lewis! I loved how many roads tend to lead you home. Because that's where the heart is.

Beverly Lewis agains gives the reader a glimpse of the complex world of the Amish. She portrays them with respect while giving the reader an understanding of the lifestyle and some history. The Wish like all her books is delightful and a joy to read..

I don't believe you could ever go wrong reading one of Lewis' books. This book was easy reading, holds your interest & shows that God can see u through anything. And, of course, I love the romance. Be sure to read it, you won't be sorry!

What can one say about a Beverly Lewis book? This book was wonderful. She simply knows how to write Amish fiction books!! Most people who read Amish fiction books know this author is really great. Just get the book and read for yourself.....you'll love it "for sure and for certain".

Beverly Lewis has such a great way of writing about the Amish. One can understand their culture ways, dress and even learn about God. I love this book because it truly depicts that family isn't always who your related to but who intertwined their lives with your own

The characters in this book are truly amazing. Leona and her family are remarkable the way they help Gloria. Dawdi Benuel is a very special man you will fall in love with. This book is so good that you won't be able to stop reading it. This book deserves a higher rating than a five star review.

I love Beverly Lewis's books, she's a great writer who's stories grip you. It was a story of true and lasting friendship and reaching out to others.
