This product is really good, assembly is really quick and easy, comes with two quality cables and easy to use getting great speeds.

I purchased two of these and they work extremely well for the price.

I used it frequently for cloning from failing HD to both 2.5 inch SSD and mechanical 2.5 inch drives as well as for backing up my computer HD.

In general it seems to deliver. It is easy to install, assemble and use if you decide to set it up once because after you insert the SSD you'll have to be ingenious to fish it out. So... It's a more set it and forget kind of use and not at all hot-swap. Otherwise it is easy and no screws are needed. However, it seems cheap plastic and I will not be trusting this to take even minor beating. Basically for office use only. I also got a bit disappointed on how it connects the SSD to the system, but I suppose it was to be expected that a extra device would show up and it does not provide a 100% direct connection between the two. That said, I got the advertised speeds for my SSD, so it does work as advertised. I warning that has nothing to do with this device and almost made me return it... If you have an old SSD that has been collecting dust for a while and you think you could use it as a fast external drive there's something to remember. I don't know the technical name, but memory cells on SSD do not seem to like to be inactive for long (mine was 3 years). So when I plugged it was horrendously slow and I blamed the devices. Luckily, I had bought a brand new one which worked perfectly. Then, it took me 24h to make a copy of the old one (yes, that slow) and all you need to do is format it and start using it again and the new information we'll be fresh and disk will be back to its speed. Unless it actually reached its end of life cycle and then you cannot do anything. But mine was afterwards. Just some heads up!

I wanted to use some SSD’s as external back up drives. This enclosure was nice and simple to use and looks and functions well. There are videos on YouTube which are easy to follow to set up.

I can't really compare the speed with any other but can say it works as intended and seems to work well really. I haven't don't any speed benchmarks but seems like it's fast enough for most cases.

Don't be cheap to spend £5 less for significantly inferior SATA3 disk readers. This is the only one I can find which has a USB C input, and comes with both USBC-USB & USBC-USBC cables. Unlike many disk reader, the chipset does not get hot, only warm to touch - so I think there shouldn't be any worries with long term reliability.There are some minor improvements I hope they can make in a future revision. The two LED indicators are too bright, so I had to put tape over it. I also wish to remove all the white text on the acrylic case, so maybe they can print that onto a sticker which I could peel off. Otherwise this seems to be an excellent disk reader.

The see through case looks very nice with the SSD visible inside.Works great and fast enough for 4K playback.Only slight worry is the sliding cover can open without much effort but hasn't ever accidentally opened on me yet.

Qualitativ macht das Gehäuse einen sehr guten Eindruck. Da es aus Plastik bzw. Kunststoff besteht sollte man natürlich nicht die Stabilität wie von einem Alu-Gehäuse erwarten. Wenn das Gehäuse mal vom etwas höheren Schreibtisch fallen sollte, könnte ich mir einen dicken Riss oder Absplitterung als Folge ausmalen.Eine SSD oder HDD im 2,5 Format lässt sich aber ohne Probleme einlegen. Dazu wird das Gehäuse einfach aufgeschoben, SSD/HDD eingelegt und zugeschoben. Danach sitzt alles ziemlich fest ohne irgendwie zu wackeln.Die Übertragungsraten sind sehr gut bzw. stimmen mit dem aktuellstem USB-Standard überein.Schade das man Speichermedien nur bis 2 TB verbauen kann aber das ist OK.Die blaue Status-LED leuchtet schon recht hell aber nicht zu hell oder störend bzw. zur Not kann man diese ja etwas verdecken.Auch klasse ist die Beilage von 2 USB-Kabeln bzw. mit den jeweils 2 Schnittstellenarten (USB-A/C).Alles in allem ein ziemlich gutes Gehäuse.

Fa il suo dovere, non è robustissimo però si chiude bene e regge la velocità al massimo. Considerando che è per un 2,5 a più di 500 MB/s non andrà. Scrivo perchè ho cercato a lungo questa informazione. non ci sono problemi di limiti di capacità. ho messo all' interno un ssd samsung da 8TB e non ho rivelato problemi. Anche se è scritto max 2/4 TB non ho riscontrato limiti di utilizzo. Credo che lo scrivano solo sul test di capienza che hanno effettuato. Sui i case più vecchi non so dire.
