I loved this book. So much emotion! I love these characters! But I was worried as I was nearing the end but there was so much more I needed to know. It's like showing me the cake, cutting it, then taking it away! On to the next book in this series!

Omg so yummy tense I read through to the end and lost my mind at a nasty unexpected cliffhanger. Thankfully I see book 2 continues the story.This book leaves you biting your nails the fmc has a seemingly incredible guy who wants her but she has intense feelings for her exes brother.They gave into an intense kiss but then both agreed it couldn't happen, not only the obvious her ex gay husband's brother is an off limits things but Finn has been pretty clear he's not the one for her.It leaves you screaming because their intensity is sexy but he doesn't want a relationship or kids and she does so we may want him to change for her but it appears he doesn't want to so our fmc chooses to date Mr. Gorgeous who does want her Jax but it's a rollercoaster of emotions.He's jealous of her ex husband and yes he's gay, but she comforts him platonic of course and crosses a line for Jax, instead of saying I'm angry and my boundary is you can't do xyz he gives her another ultimatum which ends their relationship.You're left tilted because you know deep down she wants Finn but it appears it won't work, so you wish Jax wouldn't go so far. He pushed her into the relationship when she wasn't ready, then he Gage her two ultimatums and said good bye when he asked her for too much.You can understand his anger but he's not being reasonable either her ex husband is gay but her bff also she should never have to choose.I absolutely am on the edge of my seatDefinitely hooked...hope the next one brings me as much joy.3/5 spiceNo cheating but nervously close...yet they weren't exclusive and they stopped talking cause she was stringing him along afraid to move forwardDefinitely worth a read.

This book is so hot I had a hard time putting it down. But I have to say make it make sense Pepper. Pepper is divorced from Colton because he realized that he was gay after three years of marriage to her. But they love each other so much that they still have to be around each other all the time. She actually thinks she caused Colton to become gay for some reason. After she decides that she needs to get laid she meets Jax and they hook up but she doesn't want a relationship. Then here come Finn, Colton's brother, home from the military and she has an instant connection to him. Well they have an instant connection to each other but are trying not to cross the line. Her and Jax decides to enter into a committed relationship but she hadn't told him Colton is her ex husband. He finds out at game night and is very angry with her for not telling him herself. But they make u. Finn convinces Colton to talk to their parents about his status, and when he does they become angry with him for ruining Peppers life. Colton is upset when they leave and decides to spend the night with Pepper and since she only has one bedroom they sleep together. In the morning while she's fixing breakfast there's a knock on the door and she assumes it's Finn. She answers in only a t-shirt and it's Jax. She's hoping Colton is still asleep but he walks in the room and Jax just walks out. So that's the end of Jax. Oh, but there's still Finn. Can't wait to read the next book.

Great read. Only thing ending left a lot to be desired.. It needed a more conclusive ending than what was written

I’m giving this book three stars because it was well written. The characters were lovable, and well developed.I’m seriously disappointed that the description of this book is so misleading. This isn’t a story about Pepper and Finn. This is the story of Pepper and Colton, and how they moved on from their divorce. It’s told from a dual POV, Pepper and Colton’s.There is chemistry between the MFC and her ex-husband’s brother who is off-limits. The story does touch on all that’s mentioned in the description… but it isn’t the focus, and this book isn’t about how that chemistry develops into something more. This book doesn’t end with a HEA, and the “Pepper-Finn” story line stretches on over multiple books.

I loved this book wven when I wasn’t reading it was obsessing over what would come next once I was able to sit down and continue reading. I can’t wait to read the second book and see where this story goes!

I really enjoyed this story. So very disappointed that it ends in a cliffhanger ! Debating book two wondering if that one will force you into buying yet another and so on.

Like the ease of reading the story. The characters are so lovable. The allure of the story is wonderful. Ordered the rest of the series.

I loved this series of books (you have to get all the books because the same story continues throughout the series). It's been a while since I've read them, but am keeping them for my library. There's heartbreak, lust, friendship, and betrayal (you know the one of the bro code). Very great read. An author I will keep my eyes on.

This book has brilliantly real characters, great plot, lots of heat! Can't wait to read more by this author. Would highly recommend!

The characters are unrelatable and annoying. Even the side characters are more a caricature than anything else. It’s also half a story with no ending.

Good read but not an ending. It just stops, like the end of a chapter. It’s only half a book.
