wonderful for intense cardio if you've been having minor knee pain
For the record, I ordered these myself and paid full price.I have been exercising a lot in the past year or so, mostly high-intensity cardio in an attempt to lose weight (which was successful - I dropped 45 pounds in 2016). But, I am also 39 and have a family history of knee problems, and all the cardio has been catching up to me. I have not injured myself, but I have a few days a month where there is a little pain and I could use extra support, hence this purchase. I wanted something I could use on both sides (so many knee supports come individually) and it needed to be pretty small since I have a small frame and a BMI < 20. I saw these came in extra small so I ordered them.First things first, definitely look at the size chart in the third product image. You go down not quite four inches from your knee and measure the circumference there. It is not at the widest part of your calf, but a little above. I got about 11.8-11.9 for that measurement, so the extra small was perfect for me. But, it was really tight and a little hard to get on, so keep that in mind if you are at the larger end of one of the size ranges (you may want to order up).Yes, these are compression sleeves and they are supposed to be tight. But these were a challenge to get on. I notice the ladies in the demonstration images are all wearing shorts. These are pretty much impossible to put on OVER yoga pants -- they are tight enough that they will pull the fabric up with them. (They can definitely be worn UNDER yoga pants, though, because I have done this.)Please note there actually are little tags that say "left" and "right" (or L and R). I am not sure if I wore these on the proper legs the first time, but I did after that once I noticed the tags.I have the pinkish purple ones and they are pretty bright. Since I only work out at home and like bright, obnoxious colors, these were perfect for me. These are thick neoprene and to wash them, you would want to just use some gentle soap (handwash detergent, maybe some shampoo, or liquid Dawn, something of that nature) and warm water and hang to dry. I do not think these would do well in the washing machine. You WILL need to wash them occasionally because the thing about neoprene is that it doesn't breathe. When you take these off (you will probably need to pull down from the top, turning them inside out), your knees will be super sweaty. (On the plus side, they are pretty darn warming while you exercise, which is great -- warm muscles are less likely to be injured.)I don't think you would want to wear these to go about your daily activities. You would have to wear a dress or pretty loose pants for them to fit under your regular clothes. (They work under yoga pants because yoga pants are stretchy.)These provide an excellent amount of support. I can get through cardio workouts (for example, Insanity, or MMA-style workouts, or kettlebell workouts with plyometric intervals between exercises) without knee pain. It is not the most comfortable feeling in the world on the back of my knee when my knee is bent to 90 degrees or less, because of the neoprene bunching up, but that would be true of any neoprene knee sleeve, and these do a much better job of supporting the knee than thinner fabrics (and believe me, I've tried a lot of knee support items).I would say range of motion is decreased just a little (for example, during knee raises in MMA-style workouts) but these don't impede me from getting the majority of the benefits of the exercises. I don't wear these every day, just during days when I've had a little pain or am going to do a super intense workout and I want to head off any problems. They appear to be well made and have no chemical odors. The dye does not bleed onto my skin.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I will be getting a lot of use out of these.

GREAT FOR SKIING!
I use these sleeves for skiing. I’ve tried other knee braces before these but none perform this good. Skiing is though on your knees, squatting and constantly moving from side to side. They provide great support, I’m able to ski all day and I’m not sore at night or the next morning. The sleeves feel soft like a second skin, there’s a tag inside that indicates the left and right one; although they are alike wearing them always in the right/left knee allows them to break in correctly so the creases are always the same. No chaffing. I ordered a S and a XS one; I was concerned since I was at the end of the measurement for the XS that it was going to be too tight. But it fit just fine, not too tight, nor too loose. As I don’t sweat per se, I just let it air overnight inside out. I’ve been wearing them on a daily basis since the beginning of February and they have kept its shape without over stretching. I recommend!

Sizing was a miss for me
I really wanted these to work. They're purple! They're adorable! Unfortunately, I went with the sizing and found them to be tight on the calf and big in the thigh. The packaging also doesn't claim them for running like the description. I wore these to teach Barre, to lift, and to cycle class. They sort of gape around the knee cap so I didn't feel super supported but I needed them to stabilize an injury that was causing swelling behind my knee cap. I'm not really sure if they actually did much because they were so loose everywhere but the calf. Granted I have crazy leg measurements, my calf is 14 inches and my thigh is 16 so I clearly have some big man calves from ultra running, but fit aside they retain a ton of heat, which may be great for keeping a muscle warm in fall or winter, but 20 min into cycle and I was dying from the heat and had to pull them down to let my leg breath. Maybe if they fit spot on they would work for other gym activities, but I don't think these would be great for running.

Awesome Customer Service !
I ended up ordering the incorrect one. I ordered a Womens instead of a Mens which ended up being too small. I emailed the company and they had me use a discount code for a new one. I wasn't expecting anything for free due to this all being my own lack of viewing properly. Well after the code was initiated the total came out to 1 cent. I cannot thank this company enough for the promptness in reply and the outstanding customer service within reply.Thank you guys so much. These Knee sleeve are nice. Very comfortable and not overkill! I highly recommend themthe ones in the photo are Womens. They are really tight but I will update when the Mens arrive. Just a hair less tighter and we should be good to go

Disappointed in the comfort
This product was ok. They’re not super comfortable and honestly I would not purchase them again. I thought I researched them well but they just weren’t awesome like I thought they’d be.

Run small anyway, and had problem with shrinking.
Love the product, but after one washing (in Woolite, hanging to dry) they shrunk too much for me to use again . . . . good customer service from amazon. Did not have to return a 'used' product for them to send out to someone else. Perhaps my niece (who is 14 and plays volleyball) will be able to use them. I will probably order another pair, but can't decide if I should go for a S (the next size up for me) or a M.

Good quality
I would've given 5 stars but I 4 will do for now. They didn't have a small in the black color so I got a medium. I used them yesterday while squatting pretty heavy, they were okay. Gave some compression but I still felt a slight pain in my knee. So I think if I would've gotten a small, it would've added more compression. Overall, good quality and they're pretty durable for the price.
