Got the spores & an extra bonus bag of spores- nice touchTy♡Was hoping for a more detailed instructions pamphlet inside the package rather than the referal to their website - other than that very exited to see if my spores will turn into delicious mushrooms!I'm going to tk advantage of the coupons they also enclosed as another bonus & buy a log I can inoculate next !♡ (*now that I learned it will tk about 8mos to grow these spores on the ground)

Delivered earlier then expected, which was great as I wanted to get them in early in the season. Packaged as described, clearly labeled. Was disappointed to find out that I could’ve ordered them directly off their site for ten dollars less. But did receive a coupon for 25% off next order from their site. Detailed instructions leave a bit to be desired but through some research and knowledge of what ground and trees they like I can read between the lines. My property is prime for morels but for some reason I’ve only ever found a few. Hoping this will help populate and jump start my woods. I chose a great spot on a hill with live and dead elms with rich loamy soil that has a natural spring near by. Time will tell. I’m skeptical, yet optimistic and hopeful. If this works, ancient path naturals will have a customer for life.Update: I did not have any growth this last spring. I did get them in a little late as far as weather change goes. Damn global warming. It’s fall now, I checked the spots I placed them for the heck of it and nothing. This coming spring will be the litmus test.Update: nothing grew, save your money and buy beer for the walk in the woods.

What I received were three different packaged items in "straw" - not a kit - not a package like the photo at all - from Redding, California, individually wrapped and packed single packages with no instructions and nothing like the photo on the Amazon website of above. I got these as part of a gift and was quite disappointed that they didn't come as a "kit" as it shows on website.

I got them quickly spread them around my yard and burn pile and spread wood ash all over now mushroom season is about 2 weeks away and well see what happens. Im feeling hopeful and they sent me a couple extra packs! Id definately buy this again and if i do get mushrooms ill buy several more.

Here in the foothills of the Smokies there aren't any elm trees but I have loads of Poplars and Ash which morels like too. Lucky for me they are very near the house. The packages arrived quickly and in fine shape an with the 6 packages I am hoping for lots of tasty mushrooms!

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my dad. He loves morel mushrooms but it is getting harder for him to go out to look for them, even though he loves going to pick them also. So I thought this would be the best of both worlds and he could have had a patch right in his back yard, he has the right trees and soil. I am glad I had them sent to me and not directly to him, the step-by-step instructions were very vague to say the least. I knew I had ordered a 3 pack which picture shows 5 packs, BUT the packs in the picture look nothing like what I received, mine looks more like wood chips/saw dust. Directions on my packs to soak contents in 5 gallon bucket overnight and pour over 4x4 area. I wanted to make sure it was a full bucket of water for each pack and if water should be cold or warm so I googled Ancient Path Naturals and found ‘Dry Spore Pack Grow Kit Directions’. In those directions it says nothing about soaking spores at all. I am going to do some more research and check some of the utube videos to see what else I can find. I really wanted this to be a great Christmas gift for my dad and not something with no results. I will try to update with results.

I am an experienced gardener. Thought i would give these a try to add to my enjoyment. After two years, NOTHING. In fairness to the seller/manufacturer I now know I didnt follow the correct directions, but I did follow the few lines of instructions they gave. Would they have grown if I had the proper instructions? Questionable. I have still yet to determine if these were air dryed, heat dried, or dehydrated over time. None the less, I am still disappointed and will have to look for another supplier now. Bummer. lost time, lost effort.

I set up my substrate and my bins, this stuff is magical to say the least, Mycelium growth in just 3 days.. I will be using you as my source.. I also seeded my back yard and have growth there too after 4 days..
