Patternmaking and Grading Using Gerber's AccuMark Pattern Design Software

The best pattern book I have.

Since this is a very tricky program, I wish this book would have the instructions on how to make your very first sloper.

This book contains in depth and adequate training materials to learn Gerber Accumark. Unfortunately it falls short in that it does not contain any information on marker makin, which is the essential final step in learning the Accumark suite. I'm a little disappointed and although it is an up to date reference for Accumark 8.5.1, Gerber has thus just released Accumark version 9.0. I still believe the older, yet complete reference manual, is by far the best: Computer Aided Design using Gerber Technology by Jane Alvarado......

Ofter purchasing I discovered that this book is a users guide for a specific software which is very expensive to purchase.

I use Gerber Accumark at work. This book has been a very valuable addition to my reference library. Covers a number of things not explained in other books. Don't mind the one star reviews, those are people who bought a book without paying attention to what it is for.

Helen Armstrong's book is rated much higher and she's widely considered a top knowledge source in the apparel industry.

This is by far the very best patternmaking/grading book on the market!!!!! I was a student of Ms. Lininger at LATTC she taught me most everything I know about GT, grading and computer patternmaking,Really if you want to learn about computers and GT this is it!Ms. Brand
