Davidson's Organics, Herbal Lemon Spearmint, Loose Leaf Tea, 16-Ounce Bag

This tea has a really nice flavor. I was disappointed with my first cup - smelled great, but tasted like nothing - but I think I just lost too much of the tea while trying to figure out the infuser (this is my first adventure into the world of loose tea and tea influsers.) This tea is VERY FINE, so it's difficult to get a clean cup of tea. The pieces don't really bother anything, I just personally like a clean cup of tea, and I'm on the search for the perfect infuser for that. But that's not the tea's fault! Great taste (just be sure you use enough) and HUGE bag. I can see this lasting me a longgg time, and me ordering this again!

The instructions on the bag for the Lemon Spearmint tea says to use 2 heaping teaspoons and let it brew 5-7 minutes. For me and my SO, this was too much and way too long of a steeping time. Now, I use about a teaspoon or so of the tea, and let it steep for 2-4 minutes, and it's much better. I found it tasted bad when using the recommended times. However, like any tea, you have to steep to your tastes, and now that I've found my "sweet spot" with this tea, I'm much happier.

I really can't taste any lemon in this tea. Gave 3 stars because I expected, based on the name of the tea, a Lemony tea with a minty kick. What I'm brewing up is a MINT tea with little to no discernible lemon taste.To be fair, I will add that I do brew my tea cold (overnight in the fridge) but this generally does not make a big impact on flavor.I will try, as another reviewer suggested, actually adding citrus juice to get the flavor I want.I'm a big fan of Davidson's Teas and have never had any issue with quality or packaging. Like every order from Davidsons, this tea did not disappoint in those areas.

This is simply spearmint with very little lemon peel, I have not seen any Rosehips, Hibiscus, and Lemon Myrtle. The color and aroma are fantastic - poor spearmint again. However the tea is too fine - there is so much dust and flying around when you are trying to scoop some tea out. And even if you are using a strainer or a tea ball, there are going to be some tea particles in your cup.

I liked this tea - added it to my subscription list so I get it regularly now. I'm one of those people that keeps 3 or 4 different iced teas in my fridge (a recovering high-fructose corn syrup beverage addict) and am always looking for new tastes. This one was more like a blast from the past, its just your plain old fresh minty tea.Some tips: a little goes a long way, don't brew too long, and its really great iced (I live in Phoenix so, fresh cool tea is a survival necessity during the summer). We have a few citrus teas out back and I've found the juice mixes really well with this tea when cooled, particularly lemons and tangerines.

I'm not really into spearmint, so this was purchased for the wife. It is easy to make too strong, so be careful. But when properly made, with just a touch of honey, it tastes quite good (per the wife). She likes this tea, and so, I'm happy I purchased it. We shall try some other lemon blends later and get back to how this one stacks up.

I love mint tea, and have been on the search for one that tastes strong enough to me. The blend of lemon and spearmint in this one is really nice...my husband loves it. But it wasn't quite strong enough for my liking...I wanted more mint out of it.Still, it's incredibly soothing...perfect for a nighttime relaxer.

Tastes almost as minty as what I grow in my own garden! It's fresh and relaxing. I find the lemon to be overpowered by the mint, but it is quite tasty. You just don't get a whole lot of the lemon myrtle or lemon balm. Can use leaves twice.

This product smells like curry - its a terrible smell and had to be thrown away right away.

Love this tea! Will buy more!
