I think it looks good on my R personally. I suppose as some have said it clashes with the other R logo already on the car.Only slight con the caps that suppose to cover screws kind of small. Either that or screws I used to big.

The Very Best!
The absolute finest license plate frame I've ever seen. It comes beautifully packaged. The frame has 4 fastening holes for added strength, soft washers to cushion the attachments, and screw covers for the screws. Everything fits perfectly, and the "R" symbol exactly matches the ones on the car.

Screw caps are very irritating, won't stay in. Plate is fine, but redundant looking on an actual Golf R.
Plate is good quality, no issue there. The screw caps will NOT stay in, not matter what I do, very frustrating, this is only reason it's not 5 stars.I would warn any Golf R owners: these look super redundant on your car, they will sit not far from the actual R logos on the vehicle, and takes away from the clean look, imo. I'd actually think they'd be better placed on non-R cars :)
