Speedy White44; Inc. Speedy White Hearth And Stove Cleaner-1 Gallon Container

The last gallon I bought of this product lasted three years, but I had read reviews stating the formula had changed, and not for the better. I was concerned when this item arrived and it didn't have the blue tint of the previous bottle. Fortunately, the color seemed to be the only change; this stuff still cuts right through soot and creosote like nothing else. I would not bother with any other product. this is it.

We clean the glass on our wood stove and the hearth with Speedy White. It works great and we would highly recommend it.

Hearth & Stove Cleaner says 1 gallon in the ad. When it arrived, it is only 22 ounces. It did arrive quickly but I am not sure if a gallon is coming later or what is the deal? Please let me know what is going on. I like the product.

I bought this product to clean smoke off my glass fireplace doors in 2005 and it worked great. I finally ran out of the old batch and bought it again in 2019, and it's a poor imitation of its former self. I now use 4 times the product, working 4 times longer, with 4 times the energy, for a result which is 1/4 of my previous result. I'm now in the market for something that really works, like the old version did.
