Our daughter loves Sheriff Callie and this book was about one of her favorite episodes. She loves when we read to her and Golden Books are perfect for kids so it was a win-win. The story itself is silly and fun for her, while being a bit longer than some of her other books. It's still a quick enough read, however, that you're not adding extra time to the bedtime routine.

My 6 yr old LOVES this book. She is still learning to read and this book is perfect because its so enjoyable to read, it helps her to look forward to reading it. I also love all the dialogue, especially Ella the cow because I can do a silly cow voice that sounds just like Ella and my daughter absolutely loves it. Now I want to get more Callie Golden books!

As a two-year old, my granddaughter became a devotee of all things Sheriff Callie; now as a three-year old, she loves her Tshirt, the costume, books, back pack, and sleeping bag. She also has pink cowboy boots & hat, and, last week, had a Sheriff Callie birthday party with gift bags. Sheriff Callie is a wonderful role model with entertaining side kicks. Let's have more Sheriff Callie!!!

My daughter absolutely adores Sheriff Callie!!!! It's really depressing to know the show is over. These aren't original stories. They are from the TV show. More wordage in the golden book then there is in the first readers. But my three-year-old loves them and Likes a well worded the story
