Review: Small, affordable and works well. - Don’t normally write reviews but ended up reading lots before buying this. It is great. It is very light, and easy to maneuver. Cuts the grass well and I line that the grass is distributed as fine cuttings. I have yet to add the spacers as happy with the length as is but I found it easy enough on my last flymo. Just use a tea towel and some gloves and brute force. Installation v easy although the instructions are poorly drawn and not very clear. Small, nippy and effective. Plus very reasonable.

Bought to replace our 15 year old Flymo there is one feature that is not as good. The cable being permanently attached to the machine makes it awkward to store. If the cable is accidentally cut it would be a big job to get it replaced. Also the length of the cable is not great. Our old one was nearly twice as long. It was very easy to attach the handle and add a spacer. It folds easily once you discover how to do it! All in all it is a good mower if you don't compare it to a previous model.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How often does the Blade need to be replaced?**
A: Unless you clatter the blade on something hard, it should last as long as the Flymo.

**Q: Does the handle change to different angles so banks etc can be cut easily?**
A: My Flymo is a model 330 electric Turbo similar to yours 250. Handle has only 2 positions:  one is for storage (vertical) and the other for mowering (horizontal).What I do on some slopes is to lift up the unit with two hands and engine working and easy lowering it down through slope surface needed to cut.

**Q: Does it cut slightly wet grass**
A: Yes it will cut slightly wet grass, remember to clean the underside every now and again when cutting

**Q: It doesn’t work and I can’t contact the seller?**
A: tip the mower slightly to one side.  press the handle and the start button at the same time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MY LATEST FLYMO HOVER MOWER - I'VE NEVER OWNED A BAD ONE.

I've just tried out my new 'SimpliGlide 330' and was very impressed. My lawn isn't the flattest but the 'Simpliglide' hovered over all the subtle contours and dips to deliver a very good result. Assembly of the parts is very simple and, after setting up the blade spacers to provide a 2 cm cutting height, I was away. The blade seems to be more basic looking than that on my - previous - 'Turbo Lite 330' model but it may, actually, be more efficient by virtue of that because it scythes through the grass extremely easily. I must admit that I have had a succession of Flymo hover mowers over the last 5 decades, so I'm no new convert. It's just that I haven't ever had a bad one. Eamonn
