This pen is so weird. It's great for adding laser beam eyes to pictures. It just comes off so easily long after you've applied it so you will occasionally find it on your hands or on your clothes. I felt bad about buying a $5 pen. But honestly, the thing does the job it's supposed to do very well.I've used it on all my guitar pedals and my amplifier. Even if you're thinking that you change your settings often or goof around with them there's no reason not to just put in reasonable parameters. I often make two dots for the low and high extremes on the knobs. That way I know that something between those two dots is perfectly reasonable. If I go past those two dots it's going to make a sound I already know I don't like.So this stupid pen has made me much more confident about my rig. If something sounds wrong, I know it isn't a problem with my amp. Or, I know exactly WHY it's a problem with myI've attached a picture of a kitten with laser eyes.

I like the pen and use it a lot. BUT - I need some other colors. How about orange. I'd like to put another color of dot on my pedals fort a different song. Green for song x and Orange for song y. Why no other colors?

There were only two in stock and later only one. So I didn't wait. This was a gift to a great musician and his friend also wanted one. He then borrowed it, because they were not available elsewhere either. He needed it for his gig that night. A real convenience for marking the "sweet spots" on your equipment.

I gig with a lot of guitar pedals, as well as two keyboards, and settings can get knocked around in transit and during setup. There are also times I want to change a parameter during a set, and then return to my favorite spot. These pens allow you to mark your stuff in a can't miss green that you WILL see on a dark stage. And you can wipe them clean,I also use the pens to mark input/output jacks that need to be found in low-light situations. Note to manufacturers: Why do you print black on black raised letters on equipment when you know we're going to be looking for the jacks in the dark?

I didn't know I needed this until I saw it. Then I thought, yes, many of my pedals don't have an obvious visual of where the knob is when you look down at it...this is genius. Especially my old eyes while I'm standing over it. The only thing I'd suggest this company do next is to make it with glow in the dark ink.

Love this- exactly what you'd hope it would be. The ink's a bit runnier than I'd expected, so don't expect to make any marks that are TOO fine, but it does exactly what it says it does and what it needs to do. Pretty easy to see in the dark, as well. Wipes off easily when fresh, without much of a smear at all. If the markings sit for a good while, they get a bit harder to rub off, but a bit of water or rubbing alcohol will take it right off. (Think expo marker writings when they get left for a long while.) Got it a while ago, and it's lasted very well so far. Wish they came in other colours as well, so I could buy a set- maybe someday.

Works great, comes off easily so no worries about your Amp/Mixer/Pedals/etc. being permanently marked... my only beef? Need other colors, to save different settings on the same device...Good visibility as long as there is bit of ight...

The pen does exactly what the description says it does.After you shake it up well and get the ink flowing it's easy to mark dials and remove if necessary. I get the impression that since so little is used each application that this pen will essentially last forever, even if I decide to start writing all over everything and going nuts with it.Very simple and effective product.
