Really good product. Good clean coal. No other snags of plastic and crap you find in the cheap bags. Goes up nice and easy.If your using it in a bbq starter chimney keep it some where safe. The coal crackles pops and spits embers every where.The coal lumps are huge and some times need breaking.

Really happy with this charcoal. I BBQ a lot through the year and always on the look for a deal, but often disappointed with the consistency of the coal (ie mix of HUGE and then dusty fine bits); however I was really happy with what I've received here. So far only opened one bag but really consistent mid sized pieces and hardly any dust. It burns HOT and long with no spitting. I always start my fires with a charcoal chimney using natural wax-wood fire lighters and a couple pieces of kindling, i do suggest you do this also particularly with dense charcoal like this to ensure it takes off easily.They are big thick paper bags, my preference as try to avoid the woven nylon bags due to waste, but as such you'll want to keep then out of the rain and in a shed etc.Anyway, i'll be ordering this again when needed :)

As a barbecue novice, I can’t really compare this to other products, however it is really easy to light, gets up to heat in my Kamado quickly and retains the temperature for ages. It doesn’t produce a lot of smoke and, used in conjunction with natural firefighters, there is no flavour taint. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than normal charcoal, but it seems to be lasting well, so may turn out to be better value than it first appeared. I would definitely buy it again. One star removed for one bag being split on arrival, but in terms of reviewing the actual product, it certainly deserves a high score. The seller was very helpful, too.

We have been using this for the last couple of summers & it is excellent,far superior to supermarket coal or charcoal.Decent sized pieces that catch easily & throw out good heat.No horrible smell & food tastes good

What can I say. Opened bag, all tiny pieces, totally useless. Some of the worst charcoal I've bought.

Fantastic charcoal delivered next day by very friendly and obliging DPD driver left it near my garage door. Really well packed and as for the coal well its the best i have had. Big chunks able to stack in pyramid formation so plenty of air in between the coal so the firelighters can do their work .Really pleased, you really do get what you pay for with this charcoal price is great as you don't use much due to size of coals so a 10kg bag goes a really long way. Thanks very much.

The charcoal is good stuff and burns well but the packaging was shockingly bad. It came in an over sized box that only just got through the door and inside was the 2 bags I had ordered but they had both split. It was an absolute mess to sort out.
