Just buy a few and keep them around - much better than tape
Every IT person, automotive electrician, stagehand, mom, and hobbyist needs to have a roll of this stuff around. Makes for tidy wrapping of stuff with adjustable lengths. Just buy a few and keep them around - much better than tape, zip-ties, or twist-ties. Even for things like keeping bags of kitchen goods tightly rolled shut... anyway, uses are infinite. Buy it.

Don't stick to itself.
This velcro doesn't stick well to itself at all. When you cut it, little shavings of velcro small enough to be splinters come off and get stuck in your hand. That wouldn't be too big of a deal if the velcro actually stuck to itself

Minimal stickum
Seems like the hook portion is the bare minimum to make it work. It will hold some wires, etc. until you pull it loose a few times or get some dirt in there. Not really designed for frequent re-attaching.
