Pennant Red Cherries, 8 Ounce

My family actually likes fruitcake (yes, there really are some of us) and not just at Christmas. The fruit is plentiful just before Christmas but I didn't get around to buying extra for when we run out. The thought when I can't find anything (really, anything!) locally is to check Amazon. As usual, they came through. Price is better than I was paying at grocery store and quality is the same.

I use these every year to make Cathedral Window cookies and these candies fruits are extremely hard to find other than around Thanksgiving and once a store sells out, there are no more. So great to know I can order year round and have them delivered. Thank you Pennant - for continuing to sell these to the public and not just to large companies making fruitcake.

We usually get this at Walmart but they didn't have any this year. These were the same quality. I'll order these again this year.

I made a White Fruitcake with sherry for Christmas. The quality of the candied cherries was the same as I those I usually buy at the market. Since all the markets were sold out, I ordered online and am very satisfied with the product.

These are very hard to find off season. I couldn’t believe Amazon had them. Excellent for biscotti.

I make a pound cake with these cherries and it is delightful. A British recipe that my dad loves. Hard to find these in the stores. A little expensive to ship them from amazon but they are great. I am glad to be able to make this treat for my family.

I got these for my mom. She's had several requests for her mini fruit cakes outside of the Christmas season. And it's hard to find candied fruit all year around. Thanks, Amazon!

EASy to purchase item that has been dificult to find locally
