Came with its own resealable plastic bag with one vent hole on each side. The waist band is a wide elastic and is reinforced with the front ties. There is a full-size brief lining. The material is polyester which has a nylon-like feel. The front side has two deep pockets on each side and the back side has one deep pocket sealable with it velcro band. Length is correct on both front and side...my buttocks are fully covered.I can wear this in the water, on a kayak, or walking on the beach without appearing overexposed. The nylon-like feel of the material makes me think that a water drop would slide off the fabric. I love the bright coral color, which will make it stand out when I am in the water (for safety). Also, even if the shorts is wet, the outline of the full-brief lining is all that would show. The shorts are not loose; the cut comfortably follows the line of my thighs without hugging.I bought two pairs, in different colors and print patterns, and found the same observations to be true for both.Based on the two pairs I received, I can recommend this product.

This item was delayed and I was afraid that it wouldn't arrive on time. Amazon kept me aware of the delivery details and the weather conditions impacting my delivery. It's very short for a 5' 9" woman. The bow is decorative. The best feature is that it's quick drying. I also like the beach theme. You can wear it in the water as a bottom half for a swimsuit, at home working around the house, or exercising. I love the pockets as well. They're not deep, but they do hold my bulky phone or money.

Great fit! Great length, not too tight, but tight enough that you have shape, decent material. They look cute. Like the tie in the front. I cut out the inner material though, I didn't like that part. If they are a little tight you will see the lines underneath. Great price for what you get.

I bought these shorts for a Guadalupe river trip (New Braunfels, TX), because I didn't want to wear jean shorts or a regular swim suit bottom. The water levels vary and sometimes we have to get up and walk the tubes or if you have a mesh bottom float, the rock beds can scrape your behind. I'm a larger gal, 5'2", 200 lbs., and although I originally ordered the 2x and probably could have used them, I had time to return and replace with the 3x. I like looser fitting clothing overall and the 2x was a little snug on my bum. These are my new favorite shorts for river floating, lake swimming, and everything else outside besides the swimming pool. They dry super-quick, have pockets, and the underwear insert is comfy enough for all day wear. I will very likely order whatever colors I can in 3x and wear them all summer. Highly recommend.

The size chart seems pretty spot on. I’m usually a med-large and sized up to the XL. I am a little ‘full figured’ and have robust 40” hips and weigh 140-144. The XL gives me plenty of room. I don’t like to wear tight bottoms AT ALL. I just hope they don’t fall down when they get wet. The elastic is helpful but the ties only cinch the front, they don’t run all the way through. All in all, extremely happy with my purchase.

I like the feel of these shorts but there is a built in underwear lining inside that does not fit with the shorts. And digs in a bit as it is not a stretchy material. Super comfortable outside but that lining makes it hard to wear. Thinking of cutting it

I have purchased multiple pairs of these swim shorts over time. They are a flattering fit and I love the peach skin like texture. The have more coverage than an average bathing suit bottom but not so much as you feel over dressed. These are perfect if you are a more active person around water especially if playing sports. They sit nice at the hip and the wider band helps cover that muffin top roll area. I am still using the first pair I purchased a couple of years ago so they are reasonably durable. I will keep purchasing!

A perfect fit!! I'm a size 12 (5ft 3" tall) and an amazing fit. Really comfortable and don't ride up at the front like some shorts can do! Very well made. Would highly recommend!
