The description of this runner says that it is 30% cotton and 70% burlap. Burlap typically means a woven fabric made of natural fibers, usually jute or sisal. This is NOT made of natural fibers. I would be VERY surprised if it has even 1% cotton, jute or other natural materials, and it absolutely does not contain 30% cotton. It looks like it’s made of acrylic, a.k.a. polypropylene plastic. While the design looks nice, the stitching is poor and uses white thread on the black areas of fabric around the borders, which looks terrible. The design is also stamped on, not woven in...although, to be fair, at least the description doesn’t advertise the design as woven in. But I really didn’t want a plastic runner, and I bought this because it was described as being made of natural fibers. I will be returning it.

I wanted a new Irish runner to use for the St Paddy’s day holiday season. I really love this runner. My table is very dark so I purchased this yellow table cloth to go under the runner and I’m so glad that I did. The runner totally pops off the yellow/gold.

This runner added color and Celtic spirit to my dining room. I bought one fir my table and a shorter one for the side board.

Purchased this for the dinner after my father-in-law’s memorial service as a table runner. It was elegant and perfectly suited for an Irish Wake.
