Had a prefect baby on these routines, and now a perfect toddler.
Excellent advice and routines. Though I didn't find the routines suitable for my child until about three months old due to feeding issues, I did however follow the sleeping guidelines at that time. Taking the time each nap to teach my child to sleep has unknowingly been a savior as I've never had a problem continuing forward. It is only now that my friends with one year olds that are still not sleeping, made me realize how thankful I was to employ the wisdom in this book. Of course with any advise you take what works for you, allow for road blocks like teething and illnesses, but get back onto the training as soon as possible. My child now tells us he wants to go to bed at a mere 13 months. Tells us when he is hungry. I put that down to Hall's advise, and our commitments to the routines. Many thanks.

Excellent How-to for toddlers
A fabulous book if you're looking for fail-safe instructions on how to handle everything related to a toddler's behavior and sleep. I also have Tizzie Hall's Save Our Sleep from birth to two years, and I must say that a lot of the initial sections have basically been duplicated in the toddler book, thus making them incredibly boring for anyone who's already read the baby book (that's the reason I did not rate 5 stars). Following the instructions in this book is not easy, it requires a lot of consistency and strength, but it's very worth while.

but all in all the schedules have worked beautifully for us
This book has literally saved our sleep! We started with Tizzie's routines when my son was about six months old. He's now two and a half and has slept 7am-7pm (plus daytime naps) without fail for two years now. I have made some adjustments (ie, less clothing to sleep in since we are in a warmer climate), but all in all the schedules have worked beautifully for us. Highly recommend!

The schedules are worth the price alone!
I found this book really helpful. This was the first book I have read by Tizzie, and found her schedules for sleeping and eating to help my toddler sleep much better at night.

More great advice
Love or hate her, I've found Tizzie's advice invaluable. As my son grows from a baby to a toddler I'm confident seeking wisdom from Tizzie again.I especially like the content on setting boundaries and we have found the holding method to really work well.

It works
Tried and tested. My wife and have followed Tizzie's advice from when my son was 6 weeks old. He is now almost 2 and we've never had issues with him getting his sleep.

Thank You Tizzie!
What a big help for such a little person. It seems daunting in the beginning, but is worth the effort!

Quite a bit of duplication
Tizzie Hall's original book for newborns was a life saver for us. I bought it when our child hit six months and suddenly needed all sorts of weird and wonderful things to get to sleep. It saved our sanity, and his sleep!I bought this toddler book when he hit 1, and his sleep seemed to regress. I don't *love* it as much as the first as there isn't really much about sleep. There's quite a bit about general toddler behaviour, which is fine, but I suppose I was hoping for another sleep bible! Quite a bit of the information in this one is already covered in the first one, so there's no real need to double up. Either way, it's nice to feel armed with something when things are going wrong!

Not really about sleep...
Very disappointing book. I was expecting an entire book dedicated to toddler sleeping issues but this is everything but. There is a small chapter about sleep, the rest of the book is general information people already know or can find elsewhere (ie types of child illnesses, home safety etc). Waste of money.

Unfortunately not very helpful
Bought this because save our sleep has been so helpful for us. But unfortunately this book does not hold any helpful information at all.

The book has good routines for toddlers which actually worked for our baby
The book has good routines for toddlers which actually worked for our baby. I didn't like the sleep settling method which the book promotes, which is 'cry it out' - that's why I'm giving just 3 stars.
