Strong flavor works great on German Christmas cookies

I love this product for the price. Anise extract is rather expensive and this is the most bang for your buck. I use this to make sambucca and anisette cookies -- it does it's job well.

Tastes like medicine - even in baked items, and in freshly made glaze. Buy McCormick instead for pure anise flavor.

Great value, exactly what you would expect. The only thing is this bottle needs a better spout. I find it impossible to pour and not end up with it dripping all over the bottle. Thus making the pantry smell like anise. So a slow distribution or stream cap would be perfect. Maybe a consideration for a future bottling.

Bears love this smell. Thin it out with vegetable oil & it will go a lot farther, you can put it in a spray bottle.

Cheap garbage…smells just fine but when you use it to bake with, even tripling it there’s no anise flavor. Probably should have known by the cheap looking bottle that resembles a nail polish remover bottle. Don’t waste your money on this junk.
