Flavacol Popcorn Seasoning & Buttery Flavor Popcorn Topping Combo

It makes popcorn a delicious and flavorful snack. I wish the topping was a 2 day delivery item because I run out of that way faster than the salt. You just need a touch of the salt because a little goes a long long way.

My family is big on popcorn, especially when we're watching movies. I did some research and found the perfect products to recreate the theater experience at home. This is highly recommended and absolutely delicious. You won't regret buying this.

I use a silicone popcorn popper, this oil and salt and 3.5 minutes in the microwave later, I’ve got a great tasting snack. Highly recommend.

To be honest I was hesitant to try Flavocol because it sounded like a knock-off, vintage-in-a-bad-way flavoring, but I was delighted to be proven wrong. This neat orange powder & oil combo is now a staple in our kitchen. We have a house of grazers (ie. love to snack), but obviously that quickly becomes unhealthy so I was looking to up my popcorn game.FLAVOR (powder): The buttery, authentic movie theatre taste is just as described. Not too salty yet not too bland. My husband normally doesn't like popcorn, and even he reaches for the bowl now on movie nights. You'll find a little bit goes a long way too; please be careful to follow directions on proportions, or you'll find your popcorn to be overly savory. I usually go with 1/4 of a teaspoon to serve 2 people. Tip -- stir the mixture before cooking AND after popping for a more even distribution of flavoring.FLAVOR (oil): As someone new to making popcorn at home, I wasn't sure about the topping being necessary at first. It definitely helps coat the kernels well for cooking evenly though. Using the microwave method, the oil combined with the powder works a lot better as opposed to powder alone. I've read some people like to use this as a topping as well, but I felt just using the oil during cooking tastes great. Tip -- if you're like me and hate that oily feeling on your hands after eating popcorn, use chopsticks to eat.The only minor complaint I have about this product is the Flavocol powder doesn't come in a resealable package. As such, I've resorted to closing the top with a clip and shoving the awkwardly tall cardboard carton in a giant Ziplock in the pantry. Some reviewers have cleverly stored their powder in shakers or jars with lids though that only helps you with day-to-day use and not long term storage. On a related note, the plastic bottle doesn't give the oil the cleanest pour and you'll likely want to move it to an oil dispensing bottle.tldr; Delicious, easy-to-use flavoring for anyone who likes popcorn. So much flavor. Just have to dial in how much salt you can handle because it's easy to add too much.
