Samsung S5 Active Case, Evocel Armor Case For Samsung S5 Active (SM-G870) - Retail Packaging, Shadow Blue

I initially bought this case due to the fact that it looked like the Spigen cases... which they unfortunately do not make for an S5 Active. I was hoping that this would be just as slim as the Spigen, but unfortunately it was not. Here are my thoughts:PROS-- This case feels solid & very durable; it will indeed protect your phone while providing a stylish look-- A lot of reviews complained about the buttons, and how a lot of pressure was needed to make them work... however, I did not have that issue and it felt great when I used them-- The case fit really well against my phone; there were no odd "cracks" or places where the case was misaligned-- Not slippery in your hands and doesn't slide around on a desk or slick surface; also, when face-down, the screen does not touch the surface-- Sleek & stylish lookCONS-- It feels really bulky... perhaps that is because I have small hands, or the fact that I'm too used to slim cases-- It does not promote the slim look of the phone; which, personally, I think defeats the purpose of a case such as this one... if you wanted bulky/protected, I'd rather go with OtterboxUnfortunately, due to the bulkiness of this case I'd have to give it only 3 stars. Had it been slimmer, it would've been perfect. Just my .02.

Nice case. Fits good. Not bulky at all. Still a little slick to hold, not as bad as the active itself is, but still pretty easy to lose hold of. I fumbled it around and dropped it on the concrete porch after having it on the phone for about 2 hours. Landed on the corner pretty hard and flopped around for a while to end up face down. Didn't hurt anything, so I'm gonna have to say it does protect! Buttons line up right. They are a little stiff like others have complained about.... but nothing really to complain about. Does have a nice little lip that would help protect the screen some. I ordered the blue, the packaging said blue on it, the scan tag on the packaging said blue on it, it's not blue. I was sent the black or slate colored one. Not sure what happened there but I like it fine too. I'll just try again to get the blue one next time I order one. I'll probably have this one broke in or broken before too long!

Looks really good, smooth, no major impurities. But 2 things...1: The volume and activity buttons are extremely hard to press. It's ridiculously annoying.2: The coloured back didn't sit flush near the very top, above the camera, and near the very bottom, under the speaker.Apart from those two annoying things, this case feels great. Haven't dropped it yet but I can bet that it has a good drop rating, but don't take my assumptions as a guarantee.Case: 8/10

The feel and durability of the case is a plus but the where the device buttons are supposed to be are a little off, making it a little difficult to lock the phone and set the volume. This can easily be overlooked though once you have gaged where the sensitive parts of the buttons on the case are.

I bought this after I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I wish I'd bought it before, but I've dropped my phone multiple times since getting this and it's kept my phone safe. Put it on and leave it; don't screw around with it once it's in place. It is a son of a bitch to take off.

Very sturdy case, I've already dropped my phone once on concrete and everything still works. Only problem is that I received the wrong color case, from what I ordered.Pros:-Great fitting case, everything lines up well-Great performance (so far)-Looks sleekCons:-Buttons are annoying hard to press, but you do get used to them-Very smooth, to the point of sliding out of your hands

Case works great! For the price it provides good protection, color has started to wear off after about 3 months; however The case has protected the phone well. The buttons are slightly stiffer to push but this is a benefit to me as I carry the phone in my pocket, others may not like this if they have less strength in their hands.

Buttons are a little tough to press once this case is on, but otherwise i like the look and feel of my phone. Also, the speaker/earphone jack is too narrow.

Decent fit. Found this case kind of impeded the connections for this.. (WiFi, mobile, bluetooth)After removing it the phone would be normal again. Looks great but kind of bummed that it would hinder much of connectivity so much

Ok listen to me and nobody else I bought the dark blue and it's great! Just a bit bulky and the buttons need to be broken in but that only takes about a week so all in all it's a great case and it save my phone many times

A good tough case

Sturdy, strong case, but bulky. If you're looking for something sleek, this isn't what you want. If you don't care about the size of your phone but want to make sure it's protected, then this is what you want.
