Alpine RS652 2-Way 6.5in. Car Speaker

These fit perfectly for my application. A great value considering the r series released their gen 2. These are soound clear and are easy to install. They have great power handling but sound great on stock power. They function exactly as advertised.

Best speakers on the market for the money hands down. Clear sound, no distortion, good bass highs and lows, and loud af. Added a mn 8-inch sub with Alpine Amp to reduce the power from the car speakers and man what a huge difference. Fits perfectly behind my seat of my Toyota Tacoma. Perfect sounding sustem. I purchased the latest gen Type R 6.5 components to replace some Rockford T2652-S in my front doors and these previous gen Type R 6.5 coaxials to replace some Rockford T1675 in my rear doors.They are being powered off of a Rockford T400X4AD and handle the power well. They have a pretty flat response and really come to life with some proper tuning. They are nowhere near as harsh as the RF T series. My only complaint is the spade terminals are a little flimsy. You will need .110" quick connects for the negative terminal and standard .250" for the positive. Quick connects were not included in the box.

I've installed these in my Jeep JL non-alpine system and the difference is day and night. Don't get me wrong, the stock ones (knee panel) are great quality but weak sound (it maxes out at 27 speaker volume). Now the sound is super clear for mids and highs, as for the bass without amp, it's decent but not as strong as the stock ones. HOWEVER, when you install an amp, that's when the glory kicks in and these speakers obliterate the stock speakers.So to sum up;**Without amp** you'll get an upgrade in the sound clarity especially with mids and highs BUT NOT MUCH with the low bass or the bass kicks.**With amp** you'll enjoy single Hz of frequency in a song. Great bass (high, mids, lows), great clarity and high power in speaker volume .If you're installing these in Jeep JL, don't forget your Metra knee panel pods and adapters.

After hearing the fronts same brand I had to get the rear ones. All I can say 10 out of 5 stars tks again

These things are VERY LOUD. I installed them on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler very easily. Just be careful of positive and negatives, but oh my god they are like concert quality. Very very loud and have only turned the, up to 3/4 of the way. I am pushing about 10 amps and they sound perfect. But do definitely pair with subwoofer because they do not carry much bass....would definitely buy again....

Still to this day, alpine has continued to make great quality products. 100% stellar speakers, they are made beautifully and have sweet grills with the R logo. Sounds just as good as an older 6x9 alpine I have in rear. I put these in the doors of my 00jeep Cherokee. They sound amazing. I have a little 10” kicker sub in rear and a kicker amp which has 3 separate amps in one to run my door speakers/ rear deck and sub independently. I think I’m giving them about 100watts and they sound 1000 times better powered

They were a joke I would not buy these again did not last long at all. Oh, come up part There might be some bootleg please do not buy you will be disappointed
