Bad Kitty: Kitten Trouble Kindle Edition

Okay...though I'm a HUGE Bad Kitty fan, this book didn't do it for me. While parts of it were funny, it was VERY preachy about the immigration issue. Readers like to figure things out for themselves, not be hit repeatedly over the head by propaganda masquerading as a story. This might work as a lesson for young children. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and save your money.

We’ve loved every Bad Kitty written. They have had us laughing out loud and were the first chapter books my daughter wanted to read. We were eagerly awaiting Kitten Troubles and unfortunately we didn’t love it. It’s very political and while the message is a good one 7 and 8 year olds aren’t the right audience. My daughter was looking for the humor of the other books and didn’t get it here. I do appreciate that the author was trying to relay a message and I love that this book is supporting a good cause. It’s not one that we will read over and over again though and I think the message missed its mark.

Most of the Bad Kitty books were very well received. This one, not so much. Immigration is a hot topic right now but is not appropriate for 6-8 year olds. They don't care about your political views they just want cute stories with simple morals if any. I agree with the above 2 star reviewer, save your money.

The Bad Kitty books are some of my all-time favorites. They are laugh out loud funny, and this new one is no exception. I give these books to parents who tell me their kids don’t like to read. Inevitably, the parent comes back telling me their kid loved it and they want more.

My 9 year old daughter thinks this book is hilarious. So I guess it’s great!

My child and I loved this book! Once again Bad Kitty has a good lesson for the readers and this time it was to be kind to others, even if they are different than you. Some call it "too preachy" or "too political" but considering the times we are in now, our kids are experiencing things that they may have questions about. Give us the displaced "kittens" any day, sometimes they are better than the "kitty" born next door.

My daughter loves this series and laughs like crazy every time she reads them. She will reread them over and over until she memorizes them. Amazing read.

Kids love this series of books. I bought two for children, and both loved it.

Purchased to add to our collection. My 8yr old son loves all the Bad Kitty books. This is one is just as good as the others.
