Perrin Performance PSP-INT-401BK Inlet Hose Black

So I got it in there on my 02 bugeye wagon but had to trim the evap port due to the fitting being so close to the evap hose fitting on the exhaust manifold. Also had to trim my oem pcv hose to get it on there without kinking but the big issue was having to trim over an inch off of where this turbo inlet tube connects to my stock oem air intake box. It would not fit, or rather, the air box would not close. An aftermarket system may be different but I stayed factory. After several conservative trim attempts I finally got everything together. Car does run better than it has in the time I’ve owned it so overall WORTH IT!!

I bought this as a replacement for a torn stock inlet on my 2005 Saab 9-2x (same as WRX). I chose the Perrin model because I read that it can be installed without having to remove the intake manifold. It was quite a pain in the ane to do but it is doable. I don't consider myself a mechanic but try to do as much of my own work as possible and was able to complete this in a day. I have nearly 160k miles on my car and ended up breaking a few brittle hoses during the job so you might want to have some vacuum lines on hand. Common sizes are 3.5mm and 6mm inner diameter hoses.

Excellent seller, no problems, packaged safely and in original box. Glad I got this for my 05 sti it was a pain in the A$$ to shove in because of the location of the regulator on the 05 but It is done. Definitely feels like its breathing better and the sound with the intake is pretty cool. Thanks

Needed to replace a stock inlet hose so I chose to upgrade. (Replacing with another stock inlet tube seemed to require taking the intake manifold off, so that's why I bought this one.)Install was a pain, lube and maybe a friend will make it a little bit easier.

Worked great on my 04 WRX. Install was pretty simple, just took some pushing and twisting. Had it on for a couple of months now and it works great!

excellent product, but i ordered the wrong unit. had to send it back.

I have this on my 2003 WRX its great quality mine connects to my cone filter which has the MAP on it. Well worth it. Yes you could get a cheap on go ahead spend the money do things right.
