Takane High Torque Clock Kit 14" Hands 718ht DIY

My clock turned out great! At first the clock hands were getting stuck when they passed over each over. But they can bend very very easily so I bent the long hand ever so slightly to where it worked perfectly. Keeps time! Love it!

Easy install and clear directions. Works great as far as keeping time, BUT the hands are VERY THIN and FLIMSY. Bends easily. Doesnt matter how careful you are. In fact we had to bend them a little to have them sweep freely over the numbers and not to get caught on each other because they had already been bent. Anyways, It doesnt affect the look of the final product, but just a heads up. They look great and do keep proper time.

The clock moment is okay but the hands are very thin and flimsy

Great kit, made a wood clock for my wife and the clock was already measured to be 20" and these hands were big enough for a 30-40" clock! The hands are curable though with a pair of light duty snips which I did to make it work. Just to give a idea on size.

Does not keep time ! Complete waste of money.

Very easy to install as replacements. The hands are a bit narrower compared to the originals on my clock but work well. Because the hands are feather light and paper thin you must be extremely careful when installing as they bend with the merest touch.
