This Amazon-highly rated mailbox is everything it promises to be: Heavy Duty Steel, Secure, Sized perfectly as larger than standard, which is great, Easy to install (includes heavy-duty lag bolts), AND a great key locking system. It's beautiful, with a hardened enamel black paint finish. Installation directions & template included. All you have to do is add numbers. Be warned: this is not grandma's old thin-skinned aluminum tube.

You definitely get your moneys worth with this purchase. The mail box is made with weather and extended use in mind. Very strong and durable. Is easy to install. I suggest a good post to match, and support the weight of this mail box. Not the usual standard thickness. The operation of the door, flag and lock are superb. Operate smoothly. This mail box is supplied with 3 very high quality keys. You can register on-line for the warranty, in the event you would lose your key. Love this feature. I chose the black. The paint on the exterior and interior are smooth and well coated, and even. As mail boxes go…very pleased with my purchase . Not that I think I would need another one any time soon. I would recommend this Brand highly, to my friends and family. Or an Amazon customer.

When our new mailman couldn’t figure out how to fully insert the mail in our old mailbox, we decided to see if replacing it with one with a trap door would help. Seems like it did, because our mail is no longer sticking out for people to grab. Very impressed with the solidity and quality of this box. I pity the fool who backs their car into it - this mailbox will win. It has a great capacity for even a few days of mail. The trap door mechanism works great. The lock mechanism is also quite sturdy.

This mailbox is USPO approved, easy to install (excellent instructions, templates and supplied hardware) and easy to use. Amazon has started placing packages through the slot now. I suppose that's 'legal' as the mail carrier can't see what's inside once they deposit your mail. Something to consider if you're worried about squatters in your area: They address something to themselves at your address, and then retrieve it from your unsecured mailbox showing they are a 'resident' since they get mail at that address...you'll never know it's happening if they are in your mail box without your knowledge. This secures all your incoming mail, and only someone with the key can retrieve it. Features- -Handles about 30-40 envelopes over time without needing to hold mail. -Can handle "Express Scripts" pill bottle packages -Handles things like small Bank Check Order boxes, 8x10 bubble packs, Express Mail envelope packs, Newspapers. We were impressed with the volume of items that can pass through the slot and be held in the locked chamber...about 6 days of mail without having to empty it during a trip. The keys are laser groove cut (like European car keys), and a bit exprensive to order extras (About $12 each from the company). The finish is hammered and durable. The Flag is plastic, a bit on the flimsy side, but is completely functional, and resists breaking when bent. The slot door has a clip to hold Letter sized envelopes for the Mail Carrier to retrieve as outgoing mail. The lock is very secure, and is tamper resistant. Mail stays dry. The installation is straight forward, with included hardware (lags and washers and a drill bit) onto a 2x6 base mounted on a 4x4 or 4x6 post (recommended). You'll need a drill, a socket set and a pencil. Included is a slippery corrugated plastic interior floor cover, which covers the lag bolts and makes sliding mail out easy. After about 4 months of use, no issues, no complaints or problems. Key orders took about a week.

We’ve had this for just over a month now. I wish we would have gotten one sooner! This is a very sturdy mailbox. Lots of room. It’s secure. Very good quality. No one is getting into this box, without a key. I highly recommend this secured mailbox. It comes with it’s own drill bit even, for installation.

El Buzon es una chulada! De primera. Lujoso y excelentes materiales. Pero….. Cuando quise colocarlo no había manera xq en La pared se obstruye para abrirse. Fui directo a su página y no hay las bases como tal ahí. Había que comunicarse y pedirla y fue un show. Terminé mandándola a hacer con un herrero.
