I used this for a tamper indication on a food product - gently heat the wax and dip the opening. Worked perfectly. Delivery was quick and painless.

This bottling wax is great stuff! Love the color! It's a nice, rich red! I made two gallons of Mead and sealed the corks with the wax. I did 3 coats because it flowed down the side and only had a thin layer over the cork. Then I got smart and figured out that I can dip it in cold water and set the wax where I want it! (My blonde moment for the day!) Also, the drippings will not stick to the bottle and will peel away when cooled, fyi.I took the long route and used a double boiler to melt the wax. Next time I'm just gonna put it over the stove on low heat. Im sure if I had an electric temerature controled way of melting the wax, it would look better! But im going for function over form!I will be buying this again!

Easy to use, looks nice, and easy to remove. I'd suggest using a thin filament tape strip on the back of the bottle to make wax removal even easier.

We kept googling how to use it and got a few good ideas from the internet. In all honesty we could have burned the house down. I got out the fire extinguisher just in case.
