Oh my gosh! I write very few reviews, but on this case, I just had to...this case is great! The quality, I feel, is superb. It fits my iPad perfectly. It is sturdy. I love the way it holds the Apple Pencil...and yes, the pencil can attach to my iPad and charge while in the case. There is also an elastic loop on the top of the case that holds the pencil securely for those times when you don’t want it attached to your iPad.The sleep/wake function works perfectly when I open and close the cover.The camera window is recessed,to protect the camera lens, yet it does not interfere with taking pictures.The stitching is high quality and beautiful.I just cannot say enough good things about this case!I have owned many iPads over the years, since the first iPad came out. Thus, I have bought many cases over the years. I can honestly say, this is the best case that I have ever had in the lifetime of having iPads. I feel fully confident that my latest device is well protected, and I trust this case 100% with my new iPad investment.Great job to the makers of Skycase! This was definitely a worthwhile investment to protect my iPad, and I highly recommend.You will not be disappointed in this case!

I have been using this for a while now. the pen holder is secure and safe, it allows the pen to charge easily. The iPad does not tuck into the case when closed meaning that the edges of the ipad are flush with the edges of the cover. The ipad does however slip into a sturdy rubber compound that is stiff but pliable when removing and inserting the iPad. It seems that the material would add some extra protection from a drop. Volume and sleep button are very easy to press and find. The case looks very sharp and professional. There are spaces to keep business cards in the lid. I would only keep soft cards in these slots for rear of the screen being scratched. The case has a nice solid back that keeps the ipad propped up when in stand mode. I use it sitting on my lap and have good luck with it. Obviously moving around a lot can cause some issues but for a calm person, it works great. There is a third option to use the case. In the A frame position, if you pull the bottom of the iPad out from the slotted holders and let it lay somewhat flat. There is a slight cant to the ipad putting it on a very nice angle for typing while its sitting on your lap or a desk.Great buy. I've really enjoyed it.

The Skycase arrived today. It replaced another popular case which I liked a lot, but I wanted one with a more substantial way to handle my pencil. The little pocket for charging is very functional, if a bit tight. I suspect it will wear in a bit, but I hope not too much. (I lost a pencil that slipped out of an elastic loop). I also like the substantial loop on the top of the case—provides an alternative perch for the pencil. Others commented that the grip for the iPad itself is insufficient but that’s not what I see. I snugged the iPad into the frame of the grip. It needs to be worked into place gently, but once seated, it seems very capable of hanging on to the iPad. I also not that the edge doesn’t interfere with the swipe action, which is nice. On my previous case, I had to get my finger in behind the grip. This is an unanticipated benefit. My first impression is very positive so I hope it holds up. If so I will be very happy with this purchase.

I’m so glad the pen holder actually holds well and now I won’t lose my Apple Pencil.My only thing is that some parts of the edges of the gel holding the actual iPad is a little flimsy (as seen in the video). Not to the point where it worries me, just a small pet peeve. Also I wish they have more color options. But other than that, this is my second skycase I’ve bought (first one didn’t have the pen holder) and they do not disappoint!

This case is one I have been looking for a long time. I need it to lay on my lap with out flexing or slipping, being sturdy -supporting it self, carry and support my apple pen for recharging and holding. I turn it upside down when its fully charged so it doesn't charge and storing it in it's holder and its held firmly. My I pad is held in place firmly and the speakers are not blocked, closing it is a breeze, just bring it together and the clip magnet locks it closed. This one fits the bill for me. { Note- the rubber support between the speakers is easy to move which could become damaged } Thank You for this Skycase. I am very satisfied with your product

A very handsome case with a convenient space for storing and charging an Apple Pencil. Ordered the purple which is a darker, more mulberry color than the photo. The denim face is more steel gray/lavender-ish. Actually, looks better in person.

I use my iPad pro for school so this bad boy goes with me everywhere, I needed something strong and able to withstand the amount of work and abuse I put this guy through. This case does exactly what I need. It's strong, made of tough fabric that is just the right amount of strength. It's protects my iPad perfectly without a doubt. But this beautiful case is designed wonderful. It's soft on the inside so it can't risk scratching the surface of the screen. The design of the case in general is just too notch. So worth the money. I would totally recommend this to everyone.

This is an excellent all purpose case for the newer 12.9” iPad with the iPencil. It allows the pane cup to charge but be easily retrievable when you want to use it. The sturdy fabric makes it easy to grip with one hand. The fabric covering helps to keep it from sliding off your hand or lap. It folds back so you can lay the iPad flat or offers multiple different tilts for watching movies. I am completely thrilled with this cover!
