The Worm Inn
I can't say enough good things about my Worm Inn. I had a stackable plastic system prior, and had nothing but problems. The stackable plastic bins are total junk unless you enjoy playing in mud.My Worm Inn was simple to set up (I bought the PVC and glue to complete the stand for about $10. ) and in less than 30 minutes, I was ready to go.Our family eats a lot of produce, and this system (Unlike my old plastic stackable), allows my worms to live in damp, but not swampy conditions. The Worm Inn is advertised as a breathable system, and it's incredible how breathable it really is. I love watching my worms being active and eating like crazy.I would recommend The Worm Inn to anyone that is serious about wanting to compost all their produce scraps. It made my worm composting fun again.

Read my reasons for the low rating BEFORE puchasing
1. Doesn't come as shown in the pictures. It does NOT include the materials for the stand. You are expected to purchase PVC piping and glue yourself and put it together with the pipe joints they do provide.2. The pouch secures at the bottom with a drawstring closure that does not completely close due to the thickness of the fabric. Money matter how tightly I pulled, there was always a hole remaining. This would mean constant leakage. I also would expect a lot of hassle trying to close it back up with all the material inside of it.3. All in all, not worth the $89.00

I searched for a mega but guess I didn't pay attention it brought me to a regular worm inn but is great for what it is. As far as shipping time and delivery service was outstanding as usual

very happy with the inn
So, I have owned the worm inn for a month now, and the red wigglers have been inside the inn for three weeks. It works exactly as advertised. It breathes without smelling, and any excess water or liquid will drain from the bottom, so it won't get overly wet. Also, the zippered net top is a fantastic way to keep the bugs away. The worms are extremely active and doing great. Awesome! I will post again in three months when I remove the castings

Very nice worm bin
Very nice worm bin. The only thing I wish I knew first was to put some egg carton or something in the bottom as a sort of false bottom, because initially while the moisture level was getting into balance I had a bunch of escapees which is a bit sad.

Good company :-) although I check on them at least every other day to see that they have enough, but not too much moisture.

an option, but not the best one.
its okay. The price is a bit high. Tried the worm inn, then skipped the worm inn mega due to pricing. I went with something called the Hungry bin instead which is twice as expensive, but the size of a residential street trash can, same concept as the worm in, but plastic and a bit more heavy duty . I found the zipper and top mesh flimsy, on the worm in and it gets really dirty at the bottom. Next project will be a DIY flow thru with a spare trash can.
