I've been following Dani's progress on Little Women since she first announced her kickstarter. I am so glad that the first part of her adaptation is available!The story is as close an adaptation as I can remember. (I'll admit it's been a long time since I read the original novel.) The scenes are depicted very well and seeing character's expressions is a treat. Each character is given attention and they pop from the page.Dani's artwork is such a treat, light and whimsical with a traditional quality that is rarely seen in graphic novels. Even if you're not familiar with or don't like the story, you should experience this based off of art alone. This would be the perfect book for any young person (in age or young at heart) or those who enjoy classic literature.(I didn't purchase my copy from Amazon, but bought my copy directly from the artist as soon as she announced it. I'm showing off the gorgeous sketches she drew inside my copy.)

My 12 year old daughter is dyslexic and it's easier to read/understand these graphic novels than to read a novel. She's been homeschooled this year and I thought this would be a great book to try to read. I read it myself and was impressed with the detail of the book. I hope there is more written soon.

Piccolo libretto a fumetti molto discreto.

What a beautiful depiction of a classic! I bought this for my teenage daughter, who adores 'Little Women', and it has become one of her most prized possessions. We love the expression and emotions captured in the drawings and both agree that the artist remained true to the essence of each character.
