Read the instructions on how to use it.
I found this tool to be very accurate after testing it against two other torque wrenches i have. I f in the future i am to buy new torque wrenches i will definitely buy this brand again.

Simply the best
This is another great quality tool from a well known company. I already own Britool tools and if possible I will by Britool in the first instance. I assume the torque setting is accurate although I have no way of knowing unless I get the tool tested however the tool comes with torque certificate so it should be OK. The tool is solid and will stand up to lots of abuse.

Disappointed with this, the torque range is too small. Should have realized before I bought it!!

Nice torque wrench but not a rachet head unit (which are better)
The below is the opinion of a novice & nervous spanner-man, and is long-winded.I chose the Britool t/w as I had used this brand of t/w's many years ago (Hillman Imp with alloy head - nightmare) and they were considered the best but at a highish price. Also, it provided a range of settings that fitted in a "torque" gap of my other Draper Expert t/w's. Plus the important 3/8" drive was needed for motorcycle maintenance. My m/c seems to need at least four t/wrenches, across a wide range of settings - - from <5Nm to > 100Nm, and to be on the safe side I decided to buy three Draper Expert t/w's with a narrow torque band on each - - just to be sure that each t/w was reading close to it's expected setting (plus Draper also provided a calibration certificate for their Expert range). However, a few months ago I found that my three Draper t/w's did not have the setting I needed (28mN).Now - you have to spend a lot of money and buy a fancy Electronic Draper Expert wrench, which covers a wider range of torques to a high accuracy (reportedly), and the little Britool unit seems to do the job over a narrow range. If a little clumsily compared to a wrachet head t/w.My advice is - always buy a wratchet head torque wrench from a good name if you can afford it.(And finally, the Britool case is a "universal one - and much too large at 59cm x 7.5 x 8.5cm for the t/w which is only 42.5cm x 3cm - but it does come with a calibration certificate)
