Lots of colour photos, side bars with info, maps, hotel and restauarant suggestions with pricing info. Lots of practical travel info too re currency, safety, health, money, etc. Well used on a recent trip and the good thing is that it also covers Angkor Wat in Cambodia, which many people include after/with a trip to Vietnam. Good amount of useful, practial info combined with history.

Excellent touring guide of Vietnam and Angkor Wat, packed full with pictures, maps and places to visit. Up to to the same high standard of other DK Eyewitness travel guides. Look no further. Highly recommended.

A well-produced book which has two easy fold place creases in the front and back cover for easy page location access etc. The written information and pic's provides a great detailed overview of the areas we are visiting. This book has certainly helped us to plan our trip in more detail and be prepared to adjust to the culture and courtesies expected in Vietnam.Val& Mike20/11/12

OK but lonely plant is a must... spend a wee bit extra - this one is good for pictures...

Bought for a teen boy 16, likely to travel here soon. Lots of illustrations with some basic facts highlighted. Quite detailed and may not be read cover-to-cover by this teen, but it's there if he wants to read more.
