I have ordered other placemats previous to these, and although they were adequate I find these particular placemats to be the best quality for the cost. The color is solid as pictured and edges are clean and well-sewn. Dimensions are as advertised. I have not laundered them yet but the material seems to be good quality.

Loved these so much ordered a set of four a second time. They really are spill-proof and a great addition to our dinner table.
