This product has to be expired but I have no proof since there is no expiration date.
Upon opening I cannot smell a hint of ginseng. Moreover, the contents smell stale and musty. That is the best way I can described it. I tried looking for an expiration date and could not find it. After steeping and taking a sip there is virtually no flavor. This seller is dishonest and is definitely selling an expired product.I can't even get a refund for this terrible product.

Nothing more than hot leaf juice!
It’s nothing more than hot leaf juice! (I know it’s a root) but for real this tastes like dirt. I haven’t had ginsing tea before but if this is what it is like then I am not a fan. I’ll just continue drinking Uncle Iroh’s other favorite Jasmine tea and be content.

100% natural root product made in USA
I like the product was 100% pure ginseng root. I liked the product came from USA. Has a good flavor, a bit spicy too.I use American ginseng for medicinal purposes like energy, wellbeing for example.

Great ginseng tea!
I usually get my ginseng tea from the asian supermarket and this one tasted just like that one. Definitely worth the buy, and it tastes really natural with the right slightly bitter but very earthy and natural flavors.

Needs additional brewing time.
Nice aroma, but tea is a bit weak, even after brewing longer than directions.

Great Product - Great Service
I received the product on time and was well communicated too during ordering and shipment. My first bro of the tea was very good and I would order this again when needed.

Fuller body and flavor
Smooth and flavorful, leave the tea bag a little longer for a stronger fuller body.

American ginseng
Never had real ginseng before. I can really feel the effect. For me it's perfect no caffeine drink with great health no benefits. FYI ginseng is not the greatest taste in the world. Takes some getting used to but this is the real deal.

Quality Product
As you open the bag the smell of the ginseng immediately lets me the quality of the product. Has a lovely taste and can be used again to rinse out as much goodness from each teabag. Great product and good value.

Good quality and value for money! I'd recommend it
I've grown up drinking ginseng tea brewed from Ginseng Roots and not from a bag. I was sceptical at first but that changed quickly after drinking the first brew. Its value for money and I'd recommend it.

Light Earthiness & Totally Bland
This is a tea that creates a rather bland and earthy brew that’s not really that nice to drink. It's my first try of ginseng tea, it was not what I was expecting. The best way I can describe it is that it tastes like it has a light hint of compost that’s been filtered, there is no real flavour. I have tried it hot and iced leaving the bag to brew and stirring for 5 minutes. I can’t speak for the believed benefits of drinking ginseng, but drinking this I don’t feel would really help. Its also recommended to drink 2-3 cups a day - I don’t think I could bring myself to drink one per week. Overall, I would not recommend this tea.If you found the photos & this review helpful, please consider clicking on the helpful button below, it helps me out!

An acquired taste
It is said that ginseng can be used for improving overall health. It has been used to strengthen the immune system and help fight of stress and disease.Since ginseng may cause trouble sleeping, it is best to avoid drinking it at nighttime.Ginseng may also affect some medications for diabetes, warfarin and depression so you should check with your doctor before starting. This American Ginseng arrived in sealed packaging, on opening there was not much of an aroma. Examining the tea bags they look a little unusual, small pieces of what I can only assume is the ginseng root.On following the directions on packaging I steeped it for 3 mins, it suggests 2-4, I suppose this is dependent on your own preference.I was a little dubious as the water didn’t change colour very much at all and I was concerned that there would be not taste as a result. How wrong I was, it is a sharp earthy taste with a slightly bitter aftertaste. I would say it is an acquired taste but I really liked it. There is no price to comment with at present. I find it a pleasant drink to have in the afternoon while I’m reading my books.

I like it - but not sure how much it will be selling for
Firstly check your ginseng - this is the American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) not Asian Ginseng (Panay ginseng). Though it’s hard to find precise information of peer reviewed science, both do have proven properties for certain conditions. Oddly reviews rarely ‘spot the difference’ that American Ginseng is generally considered good for relaxation whereas the Chinese / Korean versions are sold as having energising properties.Either way, most American Ginseng is grown in Canada where I have drunk it often. I actually like the flavour and have found this one from Wisconsin to be a more clean and strong flavour than the (probably less well filled) bags I have had in Canada.Obviously not much chance of knowing dosage in a tea format but it’s something I will enjoy drinking.Pricey when I saw it advertised - but still less per than a cuppa in a cafe. Waiting to see what the price will be when available but certainly a good quality product.,
