Disappointed
I can only say that I was disappointed with how this target turned out. Says it's rated to handle up to 30-06. Ha, yeah right. I shot it a few times with 45ACP, 9mm and so on. Seemed to be working like a champ. Then plinked it some with my AR shooting 223. If you hit the rabbit all is fine, hit the frame at all and this thing is done. I had a few rounds hit the frame and it either broke the welds or twisted the round stock it's made off. Basically the frame got twisted up and this thing was junk.I know destroyed the rabbit with one shot from my Benelli Supernova. I know it's probably not made to handle a shotgun slug but it says up to 30-06 and I'm positive my 30-06 would have done the same as my 12ga to this target. One hit to the rabbit with the slug and it cracked it clean in 2.40 bucks is better spent on paper targets.

Split in half with .257
Packaging states the target is rated for up to 30.06, uh huh, yeah, right. I split this thing in half with my .257 roberts at 100 yards in only 6 hits the first time using it! I wasn't using any spectacular round, either. Just a 120 gr soft-point. I do not recommend using this target if you are using anything larger than a .22 lrIf you use only a 22 with this target, it would actually be a good target. It is nice and slim, very fun with open sites. I do like the "ping" it makes when struck and the prairie dog swings, confirming a hit.If you read the product description, your first clue is that they actually spell rifle wrong: "This life sized dog gives every shooter years of enjoyment. When hit the target will spin and return to its hanging position. Rated to handle 9mm-30.06 high caliber rifels."

Blew it apart
I shot this target with a 223 round which blew the target apart at about 50 yards. Read later on box that you could use this with up to a 30-06 at 100 yards so maybe there was a little misunderstanding on my part.
