Magic The Gathering - Hardened Scales (133/269) - Khans of Tarkir

Alright, so this is a great turn 1 enchantment for pretty much any +1/+1 counter deck. Plus, depending on the colors you're running, the counters can get pretty ridiculous quick. Playing black? Use Corpsejack Menace and turn 1 counter into 4, or 2 counters into 6! Playing White? Try Cathar's Crusade, and get 2 counters every time a new creature hits the field!There are plenty of ways to abuse this card's effect, and If you're running Green +1/+1, this card is sure to find a home.

This is a great card for an Abzan counter deck I am making. As other reviewers have mentioned, it does not double counters, but it does add 1 counter to creatures that enter the battlefield with counters and sorceries/instants that add counters. It also goes great with the outlast mechanic, allowing you to get two counters for the price of one. Overall a great card, and it came very fast and was well protected.

I'm a combo player of Magic: The Gathering, particularly in multi-player casual. This is a terrific card for my purposes, similar to a cheap Doubling Season but additive rather than multiplicative. (I doubt Wizards of the Coast would ever make anything as 'broken' as Doubling Season again as they are too conservative/terrified to do so, sadly.)

It came in quickly, packaged well, and as described. For the Magic players, a must have in +1/1 counter decks. Great seller, can't say much besides 5 stars!
