Zilla Rock Cave Vertical Décor, Reptile Hides for Geckos and Frogs

Recently I got a baby Central American Boa. I added this to her tank to give a place to climb to, hide, and sit on top of. It looks great and mounts easy. The inside was actually larger than I expected and will hold most all young snakes. My CAB is nearly 2ft and has plenty of room.....matter of fact, too much room. I simply added a good amount of moss to make it feel more secure. I like this so much that when I moved her up to a new tank I got a second. I installed one in the new one and left the other where it was as I moved a Hognose into that tank. Some may find that odd but I have had several Hognose and every single one will climb a good amount if they have the chance. So I thought my Hoggy might get some good use our of it. If not I will just move it to the CABs tank and she can have two.The suction is very strong and I like that I can simply slide the cave off the suction cup mount. That makes cleaning it easy and getting to my water dish that is under it much easier. Once stuck I have not had them move or fall and really like the locking suction cup they use.

Awesome product, I have had it for about a year now my white tree frogs love it. Well made can fit all 3 of my frogs, assembly is easy just put the lid on and suction to the glass of your tank. Has no odor after it's first rinse off. Light but very durable. Looks amazing well worth the price.

I love this hide, it’s almost perfect! It’s a little bit bulky but that’s ok it’s lightweight and there’s a good amount of room inside of it. The black cling wrap works well too, it hasn’t started falling off yet and I often peak inside to see my crested gecko sleeping. The suction cup does not work super great - there’s an odd amount of space which makes it not very stable. But I glued some magnets onto it and some magnets into my enclosure, and then added some bumpers to make it sit flush, and it works great. I like that the top comes off so it’s easy to grab my gecko if for any reason I need to or if you put moss in it for a humid hide for some other critter it’d be easy to maintain.

This thing is awesome and is definitely a 5 star product. The suction is amazing, that thing won't budge and is still hard to get off even when the little lever is pulled. I love how it comes with the little black sticker thing that can be removed and stuck back on so you can peek in on your loved one. However, my crestie would not use it, I guess he's used to his hanging hutt thing. So I put it in my white's tree frog's vivarium a few days ago and she still hasn't checked it out yet. I'm so bummed they won't use it because its' so awesome. The sale price was great so I'm not giving this thing up lol. Maybe my frog will check it sometime, if not, someday something will as I'm always adding new family members lol.UPDATE: I put water in it, put my frog in there to show it to her and now she uses it all the time. Sometimes she likes to sit on top of too.

I use this product in a couple of my gargoyle gecko cages and they absolutely love it. It takes a minute to figure out how to get the suction cup to work, but once installed, I had no issues with it great for arboreal reptiles. And it was cheaper on Amazon than in a pet store.

Its a neat hide, I've had it for years and have used it for garter snakes, a leopard gecko, and is currently being used by a crested gecko. HOWEVER there is a big flaw with the suction up. I've always had to have something propped under it as IT WILL fall off. It never stayed secured to the glass. Also the little on top didnt fit flush against the glass and has to be trimmed to sit flat.

I thought this would be cheap junk made of foam, But it's now my gecko's favorite hide. the inside is dark, and I love the lid. the window is also a nice feature. I like that if it falls it wont squish my gecko. she loves hanging out on top and inside of it. Looks nice inside of my enclosure. Suction cup is strong and easy to use, it feels super secure with the hidden lever.

my three geckos love this. it took probably a few weeks to consistently see all of them use these. anytime a change is made, the animal needs time to adjust and explore it.

OK so the snake isn't mine, but it's family owned and I bought it as a long shot as the snake felt it needed cover and security in the vivarium. I think the snake would stay in there all day, nearly every evening the snake snuggles up in it, although having more choices that a hotel it chooses this place.It's well made and sticks well with the suckets to the glass and takes the snakes weight without issue. Its a corn snake and just about a meter long and easily fits the box. We added a little soft vegetation and it seems perfect for snakes of this type. A worthwhile purchase. 👍

Both me and my crested gecko love this hide. The suction is very strong and sits securely on the glass, I don't have to fix it everyday or every time my boy jumps on it. It looks amazing, doesn't look too fake or cheaply made. Overall, it is a very good option for crested gecko owners.

Alles wie beschrieben. Sehr leichtes Material und mit der Saugnapfbefestigung hält die Höhle bombenfest am Glas (da war ich nämlich vorher recht skeptisch, bin aber positiv überrascht). Habe nur einen kleinen leichten Gecko im Terrarium. Wie die Haltbarkeit bei schwereren Tieren aussieht, weiß ich natürlich nicht.

Ok I’d been putting off setting this up cause of some reviews saying it was complicated to figure out, but I just decided to for for it tonight and it took a total of three seconds. This suction cup system they’ve got going on is incredible and the hold is crazy strong. This would easily support 2 or 3 lb reptile, but the opening is only about 2” x 2”. I bought the rock cave, but I’ll be buying the whole collection. They’re a little pricey but I’d say worth the cost. It’s lightweight but doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. It’s gorgeous. Perfect for my crested gecko. I tucked some nice damp moss inside. I can’t wait for him to find it when he wakes up!
